The average person doesn’t have his charisma. He's put in the work to produce consistently. If it was so easy everyone would do it. It is a little luck but I don't think it's much.
Skyrim: complete five quests in two minutes in town. Daggerfall: walk 2 hours across the map in real-time to reach one quest location, only for the mission to expire halfway back to the quest giver. This game would give such endless gameplay value so long as it remains challenging.
Pleb tier. Visit a graveyard with more than 1 loot pile spawn and run in and out of the crypt until you have enough money and gear to join the mage's guild and buy a horse. Invest in the recall spell. The recall spell allows you to teleport to a set location from anywhere on the map thus allowing you to cut travel time in half. Repeat the crypt exploit until you have 100000 gold and buy the cheapest ship. All of your travel worries will be solved for most quests with the exception of dungeons.
The fact that daggerfall was the most open ended and free is probably what gives it a soft spot for me, later tes games became way too linear and railroaded by comparison

Can't blame him for not knowing that you can bash locked doors open with your weapon (since they removed that from subsequent installments), but it's painful watching him turn back at every locked door lol.
also adventure art's mad genius run. That walkthrough was endorsed by one of the original creators of the elder scrolls and the main writer for es 1 and 2, Ted Peterson.

I'm shocked at how much improvement mods can make for games. I once modded Morrowind to look like Oblivion and it was great.
