I'm sure he's a pretty knowledgeable guy so he doesn't just randomly guess he knows his dishes
Also - remember that they know it has to be one of the places marked on the map. It's not like he guesses completely randomly.
It being drenched in olive oil was a biiiiggg hint that it was somewhere close to the Mediterranean. I was more shocked that neither of them saw a cold soup and immediately thought of Spain!
What? That was such an easy round? There is only one asia minor/middle eastern country on the map, and the dang thing was drenched in olive oil and looked like a fig. I feel like you'd have to be really uneducated to not get that super easily.
Even when Link tries to hinder Rhett, he just ends up helping him 😆

Chase's little"I'm India" nearly derailed the while episode for a second in the bestest way lol
Petition to give Link the answer in every mystery round from now on. The combination of him struggling to read the note and him not being sure of his geography knowledge was top notch comedy.

I'm guessing what they did was take two pieces of paper then write the answer on one piece of paper hard enough to indent on the bottom piece.
Its not comedy it's sad.
So they sit facing each other about 50 meters seperating them, with two maps in the middle one facing Rhett the other facing link, Rhett gets a map with labeled countries and isn't told the answers, Link is told the answers in microprint, but the map in unlabeled. Would link win? I say no.
It actually hurts my heart how unlucky Link is at this game combined with how lucky Rhett is.
Nobody is lucky during a vegan food match.

This is exactly what I think. People think it’s about the dart throwing skills, but it’s not that hard to throw a dart in roughly the location you want it. It’s about the guess. Link keeps taking Rhett’s answer because his food knowledge isn’t as diverse as someone who loves food and is willing to try foreign foods like Rhett.
This whole episode feels like a horror movie.

My favorite part of this very fine episode was that it's the first "Where in the World" we've had in a while that hasn't had some sort of distracting gimmick. Pure Rhett and Link = amused, engaged, and entertained the entire time.

I'm Andalusian, from Sevilla. We also make watermelon, and beets "gazpacho" and "salmorejo", witch it's a gazpacho but with other ingredients. The mango, watermelon etc are "fancy" stuff for restaurants, the usual has only tomatoes, pepers, garlic, cucumber and bread soak in water. Every home has his "secret" recipe for gazpacho.

All my life I have made gazpacho from my aunt's recipe after she brought it to Thanksgiving as her contribution. It has the usual stuff you mentioned but only the bread, tomatoes and garlic are blended. Everything else is a fine dice. It also has finely diced onion.
I really like it, it's perfect for the 90+ degree weather in Missouri summers. I have had gazpacho made more traditionally but it doesn't feel as refreshing to me.
My question-would you say this is gazpacho or should I call it something else?

They probably meant south-east asia since that is the place most famous "asian cuisine" comes from as in restaurants in murica, while Indian is it's own category.
