We still boil them and often eat them while they're still warm, with some cold sour cream (and sometimes some bread crumbs fried with sugar and butter) But they can be put in the fridge and eaten cold. @@Futurebound_jpg From that description I tend to believe that the dough was simply too thick and too dense. Perfect dough for pierogi should be very thin and delicate. Then it doesn't have to be fried to be tasty ;) Especially for the sweet version of it.
