Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing are well! 🤗 Please check out my recent/updated lash extension video. Refill Hybrid Lash Extensions at Home/ No Tears Glue & Narrow Fan 12mm + LOTS of Helpful Information
Hi love! In this video I used non professional glue. I used the Ardell glue in this video but I recommend checking out my recent videos regarding my new favorite glues :)
Just a note that might be helpful for others who have not tried this before but plans to. 1) It is definitely challenging to adhere the extension to one single strand of your natural eyelash. You can try your best, like using your hand or another tweezer to separate your lashes but you will bound to adhere to 2-3 lash at times but it's alright if you follow the next step at point 2. 2) Please DO NOT use professional eyelash extension glue if you are planning to DIY with your eyes open. Instead, purchase those that are meant for DIY (without fumes), they should last you a min 2 weeks. Professional glue are similar to superglue and produces fumes which will irritate your eyes if you use them with your eyes open. 3) Remove ALL extension every 2-3 weeks to reapply everything ESPECIALLY if you didn't manage to stick them to one single strand of lash. This eliminates the tugging of lashes due to eyelash growth cycle. E.g. You stuck one extension to 2 natural lash, but natural lash 1 is at its full length growth cycle whereas natural lash 2 is still growing thus, tugging will occur. 4) If you have shaky hands, do practice before trying it on your real lash otherwise it will be extremely dangerous because poking your eyes accidentally with the pointy tweezer is the last thing you would want to experience. Denise here has real stable hands but many who aren't please be careful. :') Disclaimer: I am by no means a professional eyelist but have been on and off with extension for 3-4 years now. The above is based on my personal experience with home-based eyelash extensions.
@@softyy222imagine you have 3 natural lash hairs together with one fan, and one of the three is growing at a dif stage than the other two… then this would cause a tugging effect on the others that are connected to that fan. typically when you get your lashes professionally done they make sure to do one lash per fan so you don’t risk the tugging. so she recommends taking completely out every so often if you diy in case you connected a few lashes together. that’s what she means.

They came out the next day BECAUSE you paid $80. Any reputable lash artist is going to charge at least $150 for a full set of lash extensions. This is because properly isolating your lashes to apply the extensions is very time consuming. This is a process that takes at least an hour and a half.

Better to use a magnifying mirror so you would have the other hand free to isolate the lash and then to place it with the other hand.

So happy for you Lani:) thank you so much for your support! When I use any professional glue, I now leave my fan running, blowing towards my eyes to help with the fumes. ❤️ also use low fumes glues!
hey boo! I wanna try this out. Do you isolate at all? How do you stop the glue from burning your eyes? And I'm too lazy to make fans, do you think the pre-made fans will work just as well? and can I use those to lash my entire eye?
Hi love 💗 I just posted a new video of me refilling my lashes by isolating, and yes, you definitely can use premade fans for your entire eye. I’ve tried this and it works! 🤗 The glues I used are for home use or low fume sensitive glue - this prevented my eyes from burning and becoming teary.

I'm a lash artist and .15mm and up are generally used as classic lashes (1 extension per 1 lash) so please take care and pay attention to your natural lash. It is a lot of weight. I would recommend going to .10mm and .12mm if you're planning to do fans. Great job though! They look good.
Thank you for this video! I’m an esthetician student interested in also doing my own lashes once I am licensed. just curious how were you able to do this without isolation? Are you still applying them lash to lash, or it in between your lashes?
Hello :) thank you for commenting. I still apply lash to lash, I’ve gotten better since then so hopefully I’ll make an updated video soon. Keep practicing and you’ll be a pro! :)
Can you provide the link where you got your starter kit? And I don’t have clear if you said the flat tip is better or the round to attach to the lash. Can you clarify? Also, can you make a video explaining the difference between each style? Mink, hybrid, basic or natural etc? Also how much augmentation is your mirror? Thanks!
Hi love, everything in the starter kit can be purchased via Veyelash’s website. They should be linked in my description. You can ask for a purple box to be sent with the items. 🤗💗 Flat tip is better than a round base lash because it sits better on your natural lashes. This is because it’s flat 💗 I believe mink is a type of lash style/hair Hybrid = mix of volume lashes (multiple lashes on each natural lashes) and classic lash (one lash extensions on each natural lash extension) Classic means one lash extensions on each one lash extensions. ✨💗 I believe my mirror is 10x or 12x 🤗
🥰 how many lashes do you pick up at a time ? I love this set . I do my own lash extensions as well & I can’t wait to try this method . Also , how do you know when to apply the lashes on top instead of underneath ? Do you only do it in certain areas ?
Hi 🤗 Usually I’ll pick 2 lash if I can. Your lashes will look a lot fuller if you create fans ❤️ My next video I’m planning to do only make fans. I usually apply underneath my natural lash then apply on top throughout the whole process but for this video I decided to do per section. :)
@@adrianarusso3549 no its not it's standard that's the weight used for classic and volume unless you wana 0.20mm and compromise the natural health if your natural lashes and have them fall out prematurely cause of the heavier weight
Hey girl looove the video !💕 you mentioned that you put the lash under your lashes first then on top . So that means your stacking them ? Like one lash directly on top of the other ?
Impressive work, the glue I use for my clients is very strong and it makes them cry if they open their eyes... I wonder how your eyes won’t get irritated by it... is it the type of glue?
Hi Seidy 🤗 Are you referring to the professional glue from Veyelash or the Ardell glue? In this video I used the Ardell glue. ☺️ This glue does not make my eyes watery.
Is this method harmful to your natural lashes? I heard that if you don’t isolate each lash that the extension can potentially pull natural lashes out since they grow at different speeds I’m not sure how true that is tho
Hi Nyeema 🤗 It could be dangerous especially if you use professional glue. I don’t normally use professional glue because of the strong smell and because I’m not a pro at isolating yet. The glue I used in this video is non professional ☺️ people apply strip lashes everyday and that can also be damaging.
Hello fellow lash tech here! yes it can nyeema unfortunately. these are different compared to flash lash glue because you only wear falsies for a day and remove the glue. though her method here is not safe because lashes grow everyday, you are correct it will cause the lashes to be pulled out aswell as keep some from growing. without proper care and isolation, anything will damage the natural lash so beware of this method! hope this helps 💕
@@bribri7638 I’m a lash artist too 🖤, so not safe for the natural lash. I wish people would just go to professionals to get them done or use the strip falsies instead 😩
Turns out amazing!! 😍 Do you put the lash extensions ON TOP or UNDER your real lashes? I'm trying to learn how to do my own lashes because it's getting expensive to get it done. 🥺
How are you using ardell glue? I have not been able to get this glue to work for the life of me. Literally will lose lashes the entire way through and forget brushing them....they will come off even aftern 20 minutes drying time.
@@DeniseDegray no worries-- I'm more wondering how you're getting this to work for you. I must be doing something wrong lol. How long are these staying in, and what technique could you share to make this glue work?
The lashes normally lash me 2-3 weeks :) the technique I am using is applying on top and underneath my natural lashes. They all three support each other.
Damn So much skill! Thats awesome! Do u curl/perm ur natural lash before? I have a slightly hooded mono lid and my lashes are straight and pointed very downward! Help! 😓🤢🤣❤️ forgot to mention, that my lashes are actually pretty long… they touch my face. But again thin, super straight and down
Hi love!! That is a great question. A few lash artist do curl their client’s lashes before applying the individual lashes! 🤗if your lashes point downwards, try L curl lashes. This type of curl is great for hooded eyelids. 😍 Amazon has a few!
Hi love! Thank you for commenting. 🤗 I highly recommend to use the Beyellian lash glue or the Veyelash sensitive glue. These glues are very low fume and they are strong! These glues did not make my eyes watery and they stand last you 2-3 weeks.
Are you applying the lash underneath of your eye? I think normally lash techs do it on top! Or does this change for self application? Thank you so much!
Hi love!! Thank you for commenting. Check out my video I posted today! Trust me it’ll be worth watching :) I share my tips and tricks on how I do it ❤️
Hi lash tech here, I see that you used .15 those are used for classics sets also known as individuals, and most techs won’t stack them because of how heavy they are and for long term use will weigh down the natural lash and cause pre mature fall out, we usually use .03 or .05 and make our own fans
Hi love! The glue should last 2-3 weeks. Check out my recent videos for my updated process and new glues I use :) ❤️ please let me know if you have any additional questions
Hi Emili! Thank you so much for your comment. These should last 2-3 weeks and I will start cleaning them after 24 hours once the glue fully sets. Normally I clean them once an day, but it can depend how oily your skin is too. I hope this helps!!✨💗🙏🏼
Hi i love your video and technique. I wanted to ask, do you put each lash that you pick up on an "individual natural lash" or do you kinda place them just on top of each other? i hope this question makes sense. Only because i barely have natural lashes an wouldnt know how to make them appear "fuller".
Hi love!! Yes that is correct I will place the individual lash on top of one natural lash. I would suggest using pre fanned individual lashes it’s quicker and easier to have fuller set of lash. ❤️😍
@@DeniseDegray darling, you're actually sticking one lash extension on more natural lashes. You can't stick one lash extension on one natural lash without proper isolation. It's understandable, you can't do this alone. If the glue is not a strong one and it's just the kind for strip lashes then it's fine but if you use a strong glue then you can really damage your natural lashes.
Hey girl question for you. I’m a beginner at doing my own lashes. I’m wondering if I can reuse the lash techs fans that have outgrown since I’m new to the fanning method.
I have a question, let’s say you were using fans, if you don’t really isolate that could mean you are placing the fan on multiple lashes; can that cause irritation or buildup ?
Hi love! Yes that can cause irritation and/or build up. When I first started, I used the Ardell glue or the Beyellian lash glue and didn’t apply too close to my lash roots. Always clean your lashes. ✨🤗
i really want to try to do my own lash extensions but what would the after care be do i need to wash them if makeup gets on it or what if they get wet will it be ruined?
Hi love!! I would like to do an after care video. I try to wash my lashes once a day but if I wear makeup I always wash them as soon as I’m done. 🤗 don’t forget to brush.

Hi love 💗 thank you so much for your comment you’re so kind. Congratulations!! You’re able to do your own hair and nails :) it’s not easy! I wish I can do nails. They should last 2-3 weeks and brush and clean my lashes almost everyday.🙏🏼🤗

hi so I just ordered lashes. Just quick question , do the lashes touch your lash line ? & I noticed you were doing it under your natural lashes .. does that give it more of a natural look ?
Hi love! ❤️ thank you so much for your patience. I don’t recommend the lashes touching your waterline because this might hurt when closing or blinking your eyes. Lash extensions can be applied underneath or on top of your natural lashes. ❤️ Personally when applying on myself, it’s easier to apply lash extensions underneath the natural lash and it’s more natural looking. 💕
omg , i was scolling through youtube and i found your video as i soon as clicked , i had gasped so loud beacuse you are utterly stunning, like woah . i hope you have a beautiful future, although just a question , do you know how to make you own lash extention or must you buy them from the store. from a 13 year
Hi love! 😭💜 Thank you so much for your kindness. I hope you only have happiness and good health! For your questions, I tried to create fans using individual lash extensions and I do wear prefanned individual lashes as well. Please check out my recent videos and you’ll see 😍
Hi love! I recommend the Beyellian lash extensions glue and the Veyelash sensitive lash extensions glue. These are very low fumes and did not make my eyes teary. 💗
No this is incorrect. I am a lash tech and using lashes that r .15 (a heavier lash) you should only do classics so 1:1 ratio. Keep in mind the weight and length of the natural lashes. U should only be going 2-3 mm longer.

I'm a lash artist and .15mm and up are generally used as classic lashes (1 extension per 1 lash) so please take care and pay attention to your natural lash. It is a lot of weight. I would recommend going to .10mm and .12mm if you're planning to do fans. Great job though! They look good.
Amazing . Question the glue Don't burning your eyes?🔥?
Hi love!! Check out my recent video, I share tips and tricks on how I avoid watery eyes. ❤️
I absolutely loved this video!!!
Now time to binge on your channel ❤️❤️
Hi love! Thank you for your support!! You’re amazing! 😭🙏🏼💕
Wow that was so cool when do you know where to put placement at
Hi love! You must place the lashes at least 1mm away from your root of the natural lash. ❤️❤️
thank yu!! as someone who inspires to do things myself. this was the last thing i needed. hair and nails ✔️ now lashes ✔️
Hi Cambria! Thank you so much for commenting! I’m so happy for you! I hope it turns out beautifully. 💗✨ yay
Omg I’m literally about to do this tonight
Hi love!! You can do it!! I wish you luck.
Flat tip is better than a round base lash because it sits better on your natural lashes. This is because it’s flat 💗
I believe mink is a type of lash style/hair
Hybrid = mix of volume lashes (multiple lashes on each natural lashes) and classic lash (one lash extensions on each natural lash extension)
Classic means one lash extensions on each one lash extensions. ✨💗
I believe my mirror is 10x or 12x 🤗
🥰 how many lashes do you pick up at a time ? I love this set . I do my own lash extensions as well & I can’t wait to try this method . Also , how do you know when to apply the lashes on top instead of underneath ? Do you only do it in certain areas ?
Hi 🤗 Usually I’ll pick 2 lash if I can. Your lashes will look a lot fuller if you create fans ❤️ My next video I’m planning to do only make fans. I usually apply underneath my natural lash then apply on top throughout the whole process but for this video I decided to do per section. :)
@@DeniseDegray so...you're making the fan as you go or are the lashes self flowering?
I try to make fans as I go :)
@@DeniseDegray 0.15 is way too heavy for any natural lash for fans hun 💞😩😩
@@adrianarusso3549 no its not it's standard that's the weight used for classic and volume unless you wana 0.20mm and compromise the natural health if your natural lashes and have them fall out prematurely cause of the heavier weight
Hey girl looove the video !💕 you mentioned that you put the lash under your lashes first then on top . So that means your stacking them ? Like one lash directly on top of the other ?
Hi love! Yes that’s correct but that’s not always the case. Sometimes it depends on how I feel. Check out my recent video for tips and tricks 💗
I will definitively need to try that one, if I am lucky enough to get shipped to Costa Rica 🥰😊 thank you so much! 💕🌷✨
Of course 💕🙏🏼
Hi how were you doing your lashes, a mix of classic, fans and spikes? It was kind of hard for me to tell.
Hi love! I made lash extensions fans (2-4 lashes) but added only to some of my natural lashes meaning not to all of my lashes. ☺️ ❤️
Wanna learn to do my own extensions. It’s one service that I tbh don’t really wanna pay for. Also it’s useful to know yk
Hi!! 🤗✨ Yes it can become pricy very quickly. I wish you luck!! Please let me know if you have any questions 💕
@@DeniseDegray thank you for replying and I will!! Sorry I just saw this reply
Dang your eyebrows are perfect
Thank you so much love
I wish people would just go to professionals to get them done or use the strip falsies instead 😩
thats the something i was thinking!!!
They look nice. Do the lash glue give good retention?
Hi love! Check out my recent videos including my two favorite glues! ✨ they have great retention and helps with allergies. 💗
These look so good!! I’m going to order and try this out. How do you make your fans so wispy? Or are they pre fanned for you?
Hi love 🤗💗 thank you so much. I hand made the fans however it’s not perfect everytime :) I might make a video in regards to making a fan. 🙏🏼
That looks so pretty and you do it so effortlessly! I’m curious, do you put 14 to transition from 13 to 15 to 13?
Turns out amazing!! 😍
Do you put the lash extensions ON TOP or UNDER your real lashes? I'm trying to learn how to do my own lashes because it's getting expensive to get it done. 🥺
It’s amazing which glue you use and how long does it stay
Hi Vivian :) I used the Ardell lash adhesive in this video. It should last 2-3 weeks!
Check out my recent videos regarding my new favorite glues 💗✨
How are you using ardell glue? I have not been able to get this glue to work for the life of me. Literally will lose lashes the entire way through and forget brushing them....they will come off even aftern 20 minutes drying time.
So sorry to hear that. I may use more glue than I normally would with the professionally glue. I will find other options and get back to you :)
@@DeniseDegray no worries-- I'm more wondering how you're getting this to work for you. I must be doing something wrong lol. How long are these staying in, and what technique could you share to make this glue work?
Same!
The lashes normally lash me 2-3 weeks :) the technique I am using is applying on top and underneath my natural lashes. They all three support each other.
Hola! Muy bonita aplicación.
Me podrías decir que adeshivo usas? Para que no te arda, que adeshivo es??
@@DeniseDegray ahh! Ok! Thank you so much!
No problem! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. :)
My lash tech is on maternity leave so I'm thinking about doing my fill lol 😆 I have everything except the glue
Is the ardel glue like strong? Does it hold for more than a few days?
I'm a lash tech and do my own but it burns so much with regular lash glue I use
Hi love! Thank you for commenting. 🤗 I highly recommend to use the Beyellian lash glue or the Veyelash sensitive glue. These glues are very low fume and they are strong! These glues did not make my eyes watery and they stand last you 2-3 weeks.
@@DeniseDegray oh awsome thank you!❤
You did a great job BTW!
Thank you so much love 🙏🏼🤗💗
Gracias !!!! Hoy me las hago yo misma con la goma de Ardell !!!❤
My eyes are super sensitive ugh, but this makes me wanna try.. ugh as I’m tired of paying only for my eyes to go red n swollen 🙃😳
😭 I can feel your pain! I have a sister who has sensitive skin. 🙏🏼 Respect
Are you applying the lash underneath of your eye? I think normally lash techs do it on top! Or does this change for self application? Thank you so much!
Hi love!! Thank you for commenting. Check out my video I posted today! Trust me it’ll be worth watching :) I share my tips and tricks on how I do it ❤️
This video makes me want to try this!! Two thumbs up!!
Hi Jasmine 🤗💗thank you so much and good luck
I appreciate your work girl ❤🎉
Hi lash tech here, I see that you used .15 those are used for classics sets also known as individuals, and most techs won’t stack them because of how heavy they are and for long term use will weigh down the natural lash and cause pre mature fall out, we usually use .03 or .05 and make our own fans
Hi Lori, thanks for your advice. I’ve learned overtime that 0.03 and 0.05 are better for volume lashes! Thanks so much.
As a lash tech I cannot believe what I’m watching hoping she’s not using the same glue as us lol
@@SharkysShow she was using diy ardell glue
@@SharkysShow she’s not ..
are you using single lashes only or are you grabbing a couplle and pinching them together to make a cluster? or both?
Hi love! I am grabbing a couple and making it into a fan. 😊
Is there a stronger glue that can be used on yourself? When I use the ardell glue my lashes last 2-3 days.
Hi love! Have you seen my video regarding the Beyellian lash glue? It’s my new favorite. Please check it out and I hope you like it too 🤗💗
It’s suppose to last 2-3 weeks as well :)
amazing girl!!! about the glue how much did it last?
Hi love! The glue should last 2-3 weeks. Check out my recent videos for my updated process and new glues I use :) ❤️ please let me know if you have any additional questions
ardel only lasts 2 days.
You did a great job I'm convinced I can work on my own lashes
Hi love 💕 thank you for your comment!!I wish you good luck and happiness:)
What kind of mirror and lighting do you use? These came out great ☺️
Hi love! I use a Hollywood mirror it’s amazing!! And portable! I will be happy to create a video on this. 🥰
Ur very inspiring!! Thank you so much for this video girl! How long did these lashes last for u? And what was your routine for keeping them clean?
Hi Emili! Thank you so much for your comment. These should last 2-3 weeks and I will start cleaning them after 24 hours once the glue fully sets. Normally I clean them once an day, but it can depend how oily your skin is too. I hope this helps!!✨💗🙏🏼
Can you make a video on how you take your eyelash extensions out !!!!
Hi Brianna 🤗 Great question! I do have a video on this on my channel but I can definitely make an updated version as well if anything changes. 💗
They’re actually look nice! But how about the fumes from the adhesive? Does it have a good retention? How long did it last?
Hello 💗 I used the Ardell individual lash glue. I believe it has a decent retention and it lashes me about 2-3 weeks. ☺️
@@DeniseDegray is it waterproof ?
Hi love! Great question! I’ve gotten them wet before but they stayed on. After I apply my first set I let them stay dry for 24 hours to fully set. 🤗💗
@marcelafiona
Omg amazing job that's stunning
Thank you so much love 💕 🙏🏼
The like button sparkles when I clicked it im such a nerd
i really want to try to do my own lash extensions but what would the after care be do i need to wash them if makeup gets on it or what if they get wet will it be ruined?
Hi love!! I would like to do an after care video. I try to wash my lashes once a day but if I wear makeup I always wash them as soon as I’m done. 🤗 don’t forget to brush.
Girlllll!!!! They look soooo good im scared to try ima have to keep watching videos till i feel i can try and do it myself ❤ awesome job keep us posed on when and how you refill new subbb
Hii, I love this video and I think I’m ready to do my own lashes. Which kit did you specifically/or recommend? I love the way yours came out wispy so I’d love that type of full wispy look!
Hi love! Congratulations on taking your first step. I didn’t use a specific kit because it was sent to me for free to review. If you keep brushing your lashes while applying it will turn out beautiful and wispy. 🤗❤️
@@DeniseDegray aww okay, thank you so much!!! Is there a difference applying the lashes on top or below the lash line?

Hey girl thank you soooo much for this, I already do hair and nails now imma gonna start doing lashes! Definitely gonna subscribe but I had a few questions. 1 how long do they last and 2 is the after care the same as for regular lashes
Hi love 💗 thank you so much for your comment you’re so kind. Congratulations!! You’re able to do your own hair and nails :) it’s not easy! I wish I can do nails.
They should last 2-3 weeks and brush and clean my lashes almost everyday.🙏🏼🤗

so you get a lash try pick up a individual lash dip in glue and apply right? im gonna try this so let me know
Can u tell me how U were able to get your Intro like that? And I’ve saved your video so I can attempt to do my lashes today!
Hi love! Thank you for asking! I created the intro from scratch, I believe used the apps called Canvas and Splice. 🤗 I tried to the best fitting transitions.
@@DeniseDegray thanks!! Will look into it!
hi so I just ordered lashes.

@@DeniseDegray no problem beautiful ❤️
Do u attach it to 1 single eyelash or do u just fit them wherever?
wherever
No this is incorrect. I am a lash tech and using lashes that r .15 (a heavier lash) you should only do classics so 1:1 ratio. Keep in mind the weight and length of the natural lashes. U should only be going 2-3 mm longer.
@@sonyal9938 So. I get ya. I am a cosmetologist and a lash artist myself. I just didn't see any isolation happening here therfore I said, anywhere.
