Wow! This video represents the best easy to understand theory on how to create music with chromatic notes. Thanks. I will be using these tips to better create cool melodies.
They also easier to clash each other if not carefully composed, chromatics required more attention and skill knowledges to do it compared to those "safe" chords
Really cool video. I often get trapped into basic theory pits and I always need another reminder to step tf back I hope you continue to cover zany theory topics...I mean, how deep have you planned to scrape this barrel? :p
Can we see some more theory on writing harmonies? I’m very curious about what guidelines exists for doing vocal harmonies or instrument/vocal harmonies
I am a bit confused here. Isn't Chromatic notes and chords just parts of a different scale? for example for Bb in C major isnt that just C mixolidian??? 🤔
Yes if you replace B with Bb it's C mixolydian. But if you use chords and melody notes that have a B in it, then the Bb is chromatic because it's not in the C major scale.

You're welcome!
Must have missed this one. Cool video, I was interested in chromatic notes
Amazing, I've searched for a video like this a couple times for a while now. By far the best one for the examples and tips alone.
Thanks, I'm glad you found it in the end!
I don’t know why people don’t use those notes … like the amount of possibilities of music with them is insane

@@sebastianmedina1234 Yes I do intend to cover harmonies in the future. It might be a while as I work my way through a long list of requests!
