I'm commenting here rather than on the unedited version I watched, because it's the UA-cam friendly version and is thus more likely to generate income for you Edward. I must congratulate you on this one: this is actual historical research and informed speculation, which is rare enough on commercial television today, let alone in "ripperology." The "coincidences" are what really sell the Lechmere as the Ripper argument for me: the man who "found" Poly Nichols and lied about it just "happened to" have lived where a torso was found on Pinchin Street, and now it so happens he had a business right where two other torsos were found as well. Occam's razor points straight at him as the perpetrator.
Having also seen the original, this editing business is ridiculous. Edward is good at what he does, so why doesn't UA-cam leave him alone to get on with it?
Brilliant stuff! Your dedication to this rigorous research is highly commendable. The connections between CALs homes, businesses and normal routes of travel and dead women become undeniable and approaching statistically impossible that he was not responsible. Well done sir.

This is by far the most informative and entertaining videos on youtube on Jack the Ripper. Every episode is fantastic, and the whole recearch behind them are just amazing. On the other side it gives, beside the killings, a good information on how the life in London, for the not so fortunate ones, was at that time.
fantastic work. getting out to the scene to present this along with the story and the presentation of the distances involved on the map--a good and true academic presentation
I am listening through this again to make sure you get the views you deserve. Excellent work as usual. The bodies keep piling up wherever Lechmere goes.
I can't believe that you had to make a "friendly" version. You were not releasing a rap record. It's a video about murder suicide and dismemberment. Not a Disney review . That's UA-cam for you . Well done for giving us 2 videos .

Fascinating stuff, and meticulously researched, as always. I've been a student of the JTR case since the 1980s, but had barely heard of Lechmere until I stumbled across this channel maybe two years ago. You've turned me from someone who thought that Chapman/Klosowski was "the least unlikely of an unlikely bunch of suspects" into a definite believer in Lechmere's guilt. I'd always wondered why Cross & Paul (as I knew them) - and others who discovered Ripper victims - were usually just passed over without comment by ripperologists.
Because the police were clueless and didn't investigate Lechmere. Most Ripperologists incorrectly believe that if the police didn't think Lechmere was a suspect then they must have been right. Not so.
This channel is hugely underrated. It's the most intelligent, no-BS Jack the Ripper channel on UA-cam. I'm guessing 90% of those who watch repeatedly haven't subscribed yet. What's wrong with you people?? Your New Year's Resolution is to be more social, am I right? Start here! Even if it's only to tell me to FO. I can take it. Fight me!😆😉
Blows my mind that a factual account can’t be posted in case it upsets someone. If you’re of a delicate disposition, would you click on a video about JTR? Great work as always Ed and expertly executed ‘beeps’! 🤪
Might be a good idea to put your uncensored vids on another site - rumble for example. Also use a term on youtube that replaces the 'illegal' word in a way that makes it clear what it is, like 'self deletion'. Love your videos, your hard work in researching this stuff is appreciated.
Lechmere fits the pattern of how serial killer operates and where ever he was there are dead women. Very strong circumstantial case for Lechmere being a serial killer and probably Jack the Ripper. The problem with most of the other suspects is they have not been shown to have the pattern of serial killer the appears to follow Lechmere as he moves around London. You made an important point, serial killers tend to kill until old age, death or imprisonment stops them. Jack the Ripper being a serial killer must fit this pattern.
Thank you Edward, just found this episode, interesting as ever, must look for few I may have missed, want to find your one on the possible first victim.
Fascinating as always. Our antihero was a busy guy, apparently. Watched the original video first, got a chuckle out of the sound effects in the remastered one.
Excellent Ed. I saw the original and needed to watch it again anyway to take it all on board. So much info that repeat views are needed (for me). I walked along the canal a few years ago from Camden to Victoria Park and past under those bridges, so it's an area Im familiar with. Wish I'd known about these cases at the time. Good stuff. The video I mean, not the murders.
The amount of work you put into these videos must be phenomenal, and I appreciate it a lot. It's utterly ridiculous that a video can talk about the most gruesome details of a person being involuntarily unalived, but can't speculate on whether it was voluntary unaliving. I've seen several UA-cam videos that talk about people unaliving themselves (mainly true crime or news videos). I wonder whether they're allowed to stay up because they post a warning and they supply links to places where people can get help, or whether it's something special about those users.
Hi. Thank you for all your videos. I find them really interesting. My wife and I are planning a trip to London soon, and I am hoping to do a tour. I was wondering if you could either recommend a good one or if you indeed do them yourself? I only ask as some of them look like glorified ghost tours, and I would rather a more educational input such as the ones that you yourself give. Thank you
Thanks Ed for another video full of information. I have a suggestion for a future project. It would be really interesting to see a computer animation of the timings. Set all the characters walking in Buck’s Row area. PC Neil patrolling, Lechemere and Paul walking, put in all the timings as per reports, and so they miss each other or meet each other as reported. I think seeing it all laid out as it happened would show how unlikely it is to have a killer undetected in front of Lechmere and for PC Neil to still find the body bleeding out. What was the upper limit given by the Prof in Holmorgen’s video, 12 minutes? I saw Pemby’s 4K gaming has done re-creations of Bucks row already, would be good to see you guys working together. Or do it in real life with some mates in real time.
Another fantastic episode. Great research I wonder was it two different killers or the same killer who had just modified his method of disposal probably as a result of the massive police operations to capture him. These connections would make a great book but I’m sure you already have your hands full with the channel. By far the best on the subject!
