I still maintain that 10/8s should be far more common. You shouldn’t nearly need to kill a guy to get a 10/8 (seriously, read the scoring criteria.) Using them more often would lead to a lot less controversy on close fights.
Exactly, because often you will see one guy completely dominate 2 rounds landing double the strikes while the other guy barely wins 3 razor close rounds and they will give the guy who barely won the 3 rounds the decision even though if you look at the total fight numbers he was outstruck 150-70. So it's kind of stupid that you can outstrike a guy by 25 strikes in one round and only win that round by a point but in the next round your opponent outstrikes you by only 1 strike and he just tied the fight up. I think that they should do a 10-10 for a round that is a draw, a 10-9 for a close round, a 10-8 for a dominant round and a 10-7 if one guy gets completely demolished in that round. That would eliminate all controversial decisions, because barely winning 3 razor close rounds should not out weigh winning 2 dominate rounds. You also shouldn't have to knock your opponent down 2 times and outstrike them by triple the strikes just to get a 10-8 round.
I felt Sean won the first fight and will beat him again. It’s hard for me to hear Dricus post fight interview looking like he got hit by a car. Saying did anyone think I lost ? 😂🤷🏼♂️. A reporter says yes. Dana did. Lol.
@@semicolon101not saying Strickland should have won but I bet a judge would say the same thing to you and one of them gave it to Strickland. The other 2 swapped winning rounds so...
@@semicolon101according to the Criteria Sean definitely won the first fight. DPP got heavily out struck in the first 4 rounds and he didn't have Effective Grappling. A TD by itself is merely a change in position.
Sean: what do i do?
🗿: chama chama... CHAMA!
love that nicksick keeps it real, great interview mike
Couldn't love it more. Chama.
6:44 for Pereira talk

Yeah 😂
Sigh, please read the rules and scoring criteria then you wouldn’t be saying such ignorant things.

sean won 1, 2, 5. simple as.
If you’re a manager and your fighter is on a show/win pay contract, you’re failing at your duties.
Hopefully Periera has taught Sean how to throw a left hook!
DDP.....hold my beer!
Alex shouldn't be cornering he has his own fight coming up
What do you think these guys do training 24/7. At least he is still focused in fighting while not it the gym
@@xGodWontSaveUx i gotta agree. Bobandy made a dumb comment.
It’s literally a 8 hour event out of one day. If Alex loses his next fight because he didn’t train for 8 hours then he deserves to lose
Tf?!
Thanks for the advice

Lol, Alex is in your corner. Learn to pronounce his surname.
DDO is going to wrestle and go all out in the first 2,he know Sean is a slow starter,so why not put it in him early on.
He can definitely try
I want sean to win but he'll probably get ko'd in rd 2 or 3
I don't get what Eric Nicksick provides as a coach.
What does he actually do?
cool
So what you’re saying is, I’m not a Pereira fan? Damn
@@GavinRainwater Then you never were a fan.

I posting before it started but if its that dide who soundsnlike hes eating bacon pancakes when he talks im out
OK it wasn't
Strickland is to mentally weak to beat the dominant DDP. DPP and still.
