It's not consumer buying, it's credit company buying, the consumer doesn't own any of it. For the last prob year and a half its all been "fake it till you ma.." accept there isn't going to be any "making it"
Remember- the Fed only cuts rates when we're in a recession. Unemployment up about 33% from a year ago and new hiring is down 41%. Maybe a brief bump in stocks but only temporary. When Christmas season sales are down the reality hits.
