Tom Moore had a qb come out week 1 in 2024 throwing the most TDs. for an older gentleman to do this is impressive!!! Belichick and Landry were pushed out the door and not rushed back to a HC position elsewhere. Tom Moore is old and he's as innovative as (insert high profile 2025 HC candidate name here) and that needs to be mentioned imo! amazing that he doesn't get stuck in old ways. Flus and Waldron had to meet up during the offseason with Caleb williams, after analyzing their roster they came up with a plan. Waldron drew together plays and williams gave his input, but the people above him may have said, this is the nfl, we need you to do it the uncomfortable way. the plays chose for offense have not allowed the offensive line to look decent. they're not great but they're not the worst. yet they look terrible. the gameplanning and playcalling from the offense seems to be a big problem. I think I'm allowed to worry. I've watched the bears for over 20 years now. this isn't the office that made those mistakes in 2004. it's not the same. but it FEELS the same. and it stinks. our offense feels as worrisome as it did with fields. and trubisky before him. Eberflus defense is working great as always, but I don't get the feel that he commands respect around the league. and he wouldn't be a desirable HC in 2025 if relieved of duties. this is a lot of opinion and facts mixed. I hope we fix it and extend everyone and win playoff games tho
No body loves to hear themselves talk than Michael Lombardi. He operated the worst teams in the league as a GM and Director of Personnel-yet we sit here and treat him like he’s his grandfather. He has a lot of cool stories and experiences, but he CANNOT evaluate talent.
