This is the fun stuff!! The original soundtrack in 1968 and then the Vogues performing on PBS in 2002.Listen to the quality 34 years after the original release.
Actually it was filmed in the summer of 2010 in Pittsburgh. Sadly this was Stan Elich's last performance. He passed away in December of that year. Jim Campagne left shortly after this performance for health reasons. The Vogues became a trio again consisting of Bill Burkette, Hugh Geyer and Troy Elich.
@@williamfrye8363 Recent updates of the Vogues in the PBS video: Bill passed away. And Hugh retired again. Troy and his own lineup performs with no original members but still put on a great show. Chuck (also an original member not present in the PBS video) still puts on some shows in southwest PA as well. Don (original member not in the PBS video) also passed away. R.I.P. great performers.
this song changed my life in the summer of 1968.
When the live performance decades later is better than the original - Vogues & orchestra - that is AMAZING! I've never heard that before for any song.
Still beautifully done wow!!!
Simply and utterly fantastic.
Turn Around Look At Me is a fantastic song! :) The harmony between the five singers in The Vogues is excellent!!
Saw a live performance in West Virginia during the Blackberry Festival at Nutter Fort and they did a wonderful job! Music like this is a treasure!
wow now this music you can cuddle to and be happy.
Pure LOVE.I HAD EXPERIENCE
Love it Great
Bravo!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍😍
Class TV
I thought this was on Reprise records in 1969... And I'm listening in stereo, and still can't tell which one is live or recorded...🤗😫
The year was actually 2012, not 2002.
David DePra thanks
