So nice to see you posting videos again JP - your channel has always been a favorite of mine and I like many of your UA-cam fans missed seeing your videos and truly wondered how you were and that all was well for you and your family! Loved this video and thanks again for your efforts, always entertaining and educational.
Hello JP this is Johnny ,love watching your video,s missed them while u was off for awhile .that is good looking honey nice and gold color . I like the locust honey from around here but locust is dieing out around here . Keep up the good work . Lolo around here is east Tenn. about 20 mins from N.C line .
Oh! I've missed you and the girls, JP! Lovely to see you all again! As always, your videos make my day. Thank you ever so much! I've become interested in bees thanks to you and I always talk to my children (I work in an elementary school) about bees and how wonderful they are and how we should not fear them, but look after them. That's all on you, JP!
I would never of thought to try to keep bees, if it was not for you and another UA-camr. So I bought a box and all that I needed, except for the bees. It’s spring and I thought, hoping…praying for a swarm. I put honey by the entrance and so far I had about 25 bees enjoying their treat, but they all left. I watched your post about lemongrass oil, so I ordered some and I’m waiting for it from Amazon; hoping this works. The only thing I know about bees is from your post and another and I hope I don’t harm them by not knowing how to detect mites or the wing thing. Im anxious and excited about keeping bees… Thank you for posting…love how the bees are around you and hoping I have bees calm like the ones on the post.
I am 48 seconds in an already completely invested. Love the new setup. Not dorky at all. Even if it was it would still be cute. Because it's you. Thank you for giving me something to watch while I'm in the hospital. Your videos calm me and actually bring my oxygen level up. And now I'm going to watch the video. Thank you for being you JP!
Wonderful to get a notification today JP that you have posted! You have such a gentle voice, I could listen to you all day. No wonder these ladies don’t give you a big fuss. Thanks for sharing part of your day with us :)
JP you are by far the best beekeeper I have seen. I watch others and they are good. But you are the bee whisperer. Than you for looking like a fool for our pleasure. I really appreciate and love the videos.
Hey JP, it’s my second year beekeeping and I started to get interested in bees thanks to you, I haven’t had the opportunity to catch a swarm yet, but I can’t wait get one!! Awesome video

JP, I have to tell you, About 2 years ago I saw the video of you removing a swarm off the bumper of a young ladies car. No suit, no gloves and they were so gentle. 2 years and hundreds of bee videos later and my wife and I got our first hive last week. The adventure begins! Thank you.
I love watching you work. You're so calm and gentle and know exactly what you're doing. You've taught me a LOT about Honey Bees, and I thank you. Don't stop sharing your work with us! NY GUN GRANNI
JP, your videos are amazing. Your deep understanding of their behavior, (what is to me) a LOT of bravery, some new cameras, and your uncanny ability to sniff out and cage the queen always amazes me. God bless you JP!!!
It's so crazy how they act like a collective. I know it sounds obvious at first (especally the way I phrased it), but when you started talking about them "bullying" you, it made me realize that each colony has its own kind of personality, that the whole hive acts as one unified intelligence (sort of). Almost like how the cells in our bodies work together to make something intellegent and sentient. I know, a little weird of me 😅but either way: Love bees, and I love how gentle you were with them. Awesome video, JP! Can't wait to see more!
Yes, Amanda beat me to it, I often refer to a colony of honey bees as a super organism as they are highly social & make collective decisions, regularly, inherently. You really can’t help but fall in love with these wonderful little creatures, at least most, the super aggressive ones, meh, not so much. 😉✌️🐝✌️
Thanks Mr. Bee Man, meeting of the minds and a ton of experience is what I call another job well done ! and the bees are safe and working to make this world a better place. Love that Honey.
Wow JP ,😮you really knows how to handle the bees and I have never see you get stung by them since I have been watching your videos, you work with the bees as if you’re one of them,😀😎thank for your services, and saving them. Hats off too you mam
Happy to see you back on youtube. I watch your videos for the fun of it, not to ridicule, I am amazed how you can manipulate them into your boxes without them attacking you. It almost gives me the courage to build and maintain a colony, but not quite, LOL.
It's wonderful to see you posting new videos. I love watching the way you do cutouts. Many other beekeepers simply vacuum bees and cut comb to frame it later.
Hey jp,i live in ireland and i love how you go about removing and rehoming the bees.ive watched all your videos at least three times,so i thought i better subscribe.love your channel.keep up the great work .
I was worried you were going to go swimming with how close that pool was to you. Great video! It was pretty cool you got to frame up all the comb you got from them. Thank you again for posting video's! You always make my day.
Another fantastic video, many thanks. I can agree with your comments at the end, its as is they give up and accept defeat, i get this quite often here in the UK. I hardy ever use smoke either….😊
I have learned so much by watching your videos. Before watching I didn't even know what a queen looked like. Glad to see you are posting this year as the season comes in.
Wow!! JP that's an extremely pretty hive!!! They've really made themselves a very nice and neat place to live and they seem to be very gentle. That's some beautiful comb as well.
I actually got use to it pretty quickly & I much prefer the footage with the chest harness vs a head harness as we tend to move our heads a lot when we work, chest harness so much better!
That is one busy little Queen and her ladies are very attentive to her as well. Nice job getting them into the new home they will like it better for sure. Have a great day
I have learned so much about bees from your channel. I appreciate all the time and effort you put in to producing them. I currently am risking a fine for not mowing my lawn because I have identified 21 native wildflowers in my yard and the bees love it. I think because of the rain, I can push it another week before I have to mow. LOL
Some of the questions could be just to help them understand. I know I was wondering why you didn't take the whole box, but when you mentioned that it had rotted so you didn't think it would make it I understood! Thank you.
The gopro sure did add another level to your most interesting videos and that pool sure looked inviting as well. I'm so ready for hot weather again. Living in the north was the wrong choice.
It depends on how old the comb is, very new comb is very fragile. The temperatures outside & in the void space they are occupying makes a huge difference too. If the combs are very warm they tend to be very fragile.
It's so good to see someone making their living doing what they love to do. I really enjoy your videos JP. Thank you for providing a truly necessary and important service, both for us and the bees. ✌🏻❤
Great Video as always JP.. Not sure what it is with old rotting duck boxes but yours are now the 3rd occassion I know of where this has happened, No actually 4th as I just remembered the one in Cambridge in 2012 One thing that always amazes me is how the bees know when to cut the bands off at the right time once they have attached the the comb to the top of the frame securely. The bees I rescued last have already chucked the bands out side the entrance all 9 of them. I checked inside the hive and all is perfectly attached in the frame. They only nibble the bands a little bit at first but soon as comb buiding is complete they all join in to get the bands off.
So nice to see you posting videos again JP - your channel has always been a favorite of mine and I like many of your UA-cam fans missed seeing your videos and truly wondered how you were and that all was well for you and your family! Got mi ☕️, put my crochet down, dinner is cooking… now watch Mr JP…🤛🏼🥇🐝 From the UK 💛
✌️🐝✌️
JP eyeballs the comb, cutting off the lower section... walks the comb over to the frame... perfect fit! :-) I think he's done this before! LOL
I’m so glad your back to making videos I have missed watching you with the bees because your one of my favorite channels to watch.
Thank you so much for your kind words & for watching! ✌️🐝✌️
Oh! I've missed you and the girls, JP! Lovely to see you all again! As always, your videos make my day. Thank you ever so much!

I’ve had a terrible fear of bees due to several reactions to stings. I agree, watching JP with the bees is almost therapeutic
I enjoyed coming along on your rescue. Thank you for your time and effort.
You handle bees so beautifully. Your passion for this is inspirational

I am just amazed at the steps you take to rescue the bees. Finding the queen is so exciting to watch. Fantastic recovery.👏👍😀

JP took the ladies from a Duck box to a Bee Castle. Love the video JP and love for you and your family.
Love seeing my favourite Bee man making making beeutiful videos again . As always is great to see these girls being moved to a better location.
It is ALWAYS cool to see when you take out the combs. Honey 🍯 bees 🐝 are awesome!
I love the gentleness in the way you handle them. This was a great video JP.
Thank you JP, the camera angle was awsome. Have a great weekend! Cheers

Yay bee season season is back and so is JP! Missed ya brother.
GoPro view is a nice addition. It was shocking when you turned around and suddenly (for us) there was a bright blue pool! Thanks for the video, JP.
You don't seem to be aging much, JP! Love the new angles & your dedication to editing is obvious! Thanks & take care!
So glad it’s BEE SEASON again. Missed all you bee guys!

Nicely done, JP - and such beautiful white comb it's a pleasure to see.😊

Great to see you posting on UA-cam again JP, always a pleasure to watch you work.
Hi JP, that went smoothly & seems the girls are happy in their new home.
I would have had to be so careful not to fall into the pool 😁
Falling into the pool would be an interesting video. Ha!
Very glad you are back JP with your interesting videos.

Wow!! JP that's an extremely pretty hive!!! They've really made themselves a very nice and neat place to live and they seem to be very gentle. That's some beautiful comb as well.

Mannn, you are awesome. Masterful handling of these bees ❤
I missed you I'm glad you're back, for as long as you want to bee, and I still have you on all notifications. hugs

Some of the questions could be just to help them understand. I know I was wondering why you didn't take the whole box, but when you mentioned that it had rotted so you didn't think it would make it I understood! Thank you.
HI J P so happy to see you , you look great , lost alot of weight, healthy, LOVE when I see you on ,
Love your work JP
Hi JP it's great to see you back on UA-cam. Tom and I ( Jeri ) TOM AND JERRY 😊 we've been watching your videos a good while. Thanks
I love you JP. You are the best. I really missed you. I'm glad you are back.
J P, I’ve been watching you now I think 2 years, and I can’t understand why you don’t get stung. Just amazing.
I get stung, sometimes. I just roll with most stings, now if they’re what we call the “burning” type, you’ll see me suit up at some point, usually.
I think you said you laugh each time you get stung. Can you let us know how many stings you got at the end of each video? Thanks so much JP. 👍
Hi JP -when you framed that comb and held it up for us to see, the way the sun was shining through it was pretty 😊
Love your videos. Your calmness is really contagious and your videos make me feel relaxed. Keep on doing what you do! Greetings from the Netherlands!
Appreciate your feedback, glad you enjoy the videos. ✌️🐝✌️

That would make an excellent swarm trap now. Great to see you back and posting again! Thanks JP!
Most certainly!
I'm surprised how robust the honeycombs seem to be. I always imagined them to be really fragile.
It depends on how old the comb is, very new comb is very fragile. The temperatures outside & in the void space they are occupying makes a huge difference too. If the combs are very warm they tend to be very fragile.
Loved to see you back on the box JP... That Westbank accent bra,.. nothing but love for ya Bra!!!
