Very true. And the fact is, during the 1st wave of the pandemic many of the front line health care providers were affected by covid and died as well. (I know a couple of them) Also as what you've mentioned, the psychological trauma is taking the toll on them. In the country where i live, from the start of the pandemic till now, there were reports of successful suicide atempts by medical residents, which rose concerns about the psychological effect of the pandemic on the health care providers.
