Hi Roya, thank you for this information. Another idea for a video would be to share your experience as an American in a French University. I would love to hear your opinions on student life in France, your daily schedule, struggles and expectations vs reality.
I'm sure a lot of Americans are choking when they think about what they pay compared to the costs in France... Americans leave college with a debt that is like having a house mortgage..
This was amazingly helpful! I wish I could have known this when I was just getting out of high school, I would have taken the leap to try school in France ❤
@@royaventurera I am watching your short videos and they amazing. Helping american study in europe could be a rewarding business. Do you think the majority of student can keep up?
As someone who is planning to study in France, this was so helpful, thank you! Can you please make a video about more social norms in France and everything foreigners should know about living in France?
That's really good. I studied in France 12 years ago. Even though my salary was not high that time in Taiwan. I can pay my tuitions without getting studying loan from a bank. That's really a good. experience.
Whether it’s France or elsewhere, I wish I had access to all of this information back when I was applying for college. We had the internet but Google was still in its infancy and social media consisted of MySpace. So, yeah, we didn’t have info access like we now do. It honestly never occurred to me to study in another country beyond the typical study abroad program which were definitely too expensive for me since I was already paying high tuition even for an in-state public university. I can only imagine these tuition costs for France would’ve been much lower 20 years ago. Oh well.

Wow, je ne savais pas que les prix étaient si bas. Ma cousine a fait sa maîtrise à la Sorbonne il y a environ dix ans. Je ne savais pas que les frais étaient seulement dans les centaines d'euros.
I'm a young worker from the EU would very much like to talk about studying in France. French is my 4th language after German and English which I know on a business level. I was amazed by the low costs. It feels nice to know I've worked hard to be able to study abroad. But my first choice would be England because I can understand English when I'm tired and French newspapers are easier than television
Could you please make a more detailed video on applying for the Doctorate in France? Is Sorbonne included? Age limits? Is a doctorate from France equivalent to one from the US? How long do the Doctorate programs last there? Is there a minimum and maximum time? What is the minimum residency required? How much of it can be done from abroad online? Are Doctoral subject areas limited? Any insider information to know of? Is there an equivalent to Campus France in Italy or the UK? Thank you! Love your videos and your level of intelligence. A breath of fresh air! ❤
I discovered your channel few days ago and you're just wonderful!! Guess what! The video that got me rolling is the one in which you said: Hey French people, what is the beef with you about me pronouncing "croissant" 😅 At first, I had the feeling you're French as your accent is better than mine (crois moi!!) But then I came to know you're American! I wish you were my neighbor 😅
How proficient do you need to be in french before getting accepted? A big part of my motivation to go is to learn the language further, but curious how much I would need to learn ahead of time. Also could I transfer credits from a previous bachelors degree into this program to shorten the length and cost at all?
Sorry for late comment..Common European framework Reference for Languages level B2 is required. It equates to roughly 500 hours study / one year full time / able to hold a general conversation. Teaching will be in french, and the French have a reputation for not repeating themselves if you didn't understand. Some European counties teach some courses in English eg Hungary teach medicine.
Would have loved this when I was a senior in HS. My guidance counselor was useless, I even had EU (British) citizenship at the time… now I’m over 25 and too old for undergrad in France :/
Hi Roya! I'm a high schooler in India and I'm currently almost done with my B1 proficiency test (it's in december this year but my preparation in close to over!). Just wanted to confirm, I've heard that there are citizenship-like benefits for international students applying to French universities (who have already done their DELF up till B2), and therefore, the costs are also reduced significantly. Is that true?
From my French lessons over 20 years ago I just remember avoir and etre, plu this mega strange grammar rule for double L that in Frenhc you can see only in these three words - Mille, Ville, Tranquille! 😂😂😂 P.s. by the way and from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack I remember - Do you vous cousher avec moi?!? 😂😂😂
@@tharrrrrrr this is from one mega popular song back then from the MTV era, something like the memes now. Don't be rude, I write it with another idea...
Just take out the "usa" from the address or click on "site international" on the orange top right to get to the international version of Campusfrance where you can also select your prefered language (French, English or Spanish), that's not rocket surgery.
Thank you - very kind. I'm an EU citizen that always considered studying there but never thought it was this cheap.
So glad it was helpful!

My sister lived in Paris for 20 years. She was a student there too. She speaks French fluently like you. Maybe that's why I like your channel. 🇫🇷

On top of an eventual house mortgage as well, so a double whammy.

You are going to reach 1000,000 subcribers very soon
As a French citizen, I don't remember applying to go to University. I just picked mine and registered...but I guess it's different for non- EU citizen
Haven't you heard of Parcoursup ???
Your French is impeccable!
Thank you!

Create a video about getting fired in France. Inspired by Emily in Paris. Cheers.

What is the process for someone who finished over 20 years ago? How do you contact the schools to ask in details questions?

So i graduate next month with my associates of science. I really want to go to France to study. What I be starting all over or would they accept that?
if i apply this october, do i have to wait until next year to start?
Would this apply to graduate school as well?
Canadians subsidize Quebec in every way, even when we don't want to.
