How to Pronounce All of the Most Difficult Sounds in French (R, U, EU, L, LL, nasal sounds)
Nobody calls it that dumb British, British people pronounce EVERYTHING wrong
You’re really captured the characterization of how selfish America can be
Canadian here, we don't use miles/gallon, we use litres/100km. But because we often get shipments from the US we have to understand both systems, since nothing from the US is done in metric. The US is so opposed to the easier metric system that they refuse to sell products with metric conversions. We're the ones that learn both to be able to work with the us, though it is good to see their best and brightest (NASA) uses metric.
:)
France is correct on this one.
As a mexican american i understood 70% of the whole conversation in italian maybe I should learn italian!❤
i have french DNA my ancestors heil from Orleans France and then from SouthEastern Canada, IE Quebec but you're not gonna catch me DEAD saying Kwah-Sawuhng
Any-sing
The only thing French about me- I don’t like ice water.
Are all Euroids basically toddlers or ... ????
Well, I guess those who are alcohol intolerant wouldn't be able to go to France or Italy?
The French should position their hand as if holding the Statue of Liberty’s torch to say to Americans: “You always think you’re being insulted, even when we compliment you.”
It's all good fun and games until instead of the ouh lala, you get something that's just a long string of swear words strung together without rhyme or reason with the same kind of panicked intonation has a ouh la.
The only butchering of the English language in the US is the Appalachian gibberish that I occasionally hear when I'm hiking through the trail.
Vegan "meat" is such a weird concept. Don't want to kill animals for [reasons] but lust after the taste of their delicious flesh cooked over fire, and be totally OK with that.
Who pronounces it NEWtella in the USA? NUHtella os how we pronounce it in my region of USA. but great to know how the Italians say it!❤❤❤
M'am. M'am. Mademoiselle, this is une Wendy's.
I know google is free, but does the french have any merit with that (wine helping digestion of cheese)
Somebody call an ambulance, but not for me!
When will people understand brands will pronounce thier OWN NAME differently in adverts in different countries. Adidas for example pronunces its own name differently in USA and England and so does Nutella and many others. Technically you're both right (and wrong).
I have such a beef with ppl who go "My accent is the only valid one". As long as the message is sent across like intended, accent isn't an issue. Pick a better hill to die on, my dude...
Do French just walk around mildly drunk all the time? I would be if I had wine with all my meals.
To be fair, it should be a crime to consume good cheese without wine.
Lmao so accurate
I knew gestures are a big part of the Italian language, I never knew these gestures exists in French. The crazy gesture is the same in Italian. Thank you for this. So interesting.
Nah I say nuh tella
In France, when people correct you it’s not rude or misbehaviour, it’s a favour, it’s abour being kind.
Oh god no. I dont drink. I go staight to headaches and skip over any kind of buzz. Im positive it just dehydrates me staight to hangover. And i hate anything in my water. We have fresh water from the tap where i love. Not well water which taste like dirt. But from the lake. And our pipes aren't all rusty and taste weird. You get that in some old buildings in the city. Plain water with ice. Because I'm dehydrated and i need liquids.
You butchered him in 1000 pieces . Someone call the cops!
Since I realized how good flavored water is, for me as an American Crystal light all the way. Plain water is so rocking boring.
“American English is one of the most widely spoken dialects of English” Me, frowning at that statement up until I realized I speak with a deep southern drawl despite being French-Canadian, because my English teacher was from Tennessee: O-O
I’ve always called it “nuh-tell-uh”, have always and will always mock people for calling it “new-tell-uh”.
No, the french have a point here...
Fun fact, in France, there's a debate about it. Some employers pay from day one. Some, and so does administration, after one, two or three days. BUT! And that's where the fun begin, the employers paying you from day one have LESS sick days! I mean, they got has much people getting sicks days, but the total amount of days is less, because people goes to work, already sick, willing not to lose money, but in the end they simply go sicker and need more days off.
It’s crazy that iced water is a weird thing in so many countries 😆😆 It goes so good with everything y’all just crazy and also alcoholics 🤪
Cool though I’m American and I’ve never heard it called “New-tella” only “Nut-tella”. Maybe it’s regional?
Never had this happen. What bars you going to?
The last one😭
I remember having fondue with the ski group. I only wanted water, but they insisted that I drink wine. I told them that I didn't want the trees to jump in front of me if I drank the wine
Ok, im part french.... this is proof
Ah Europeans and their obsession with making water fancy. As a Canadian when I went to Europe for the first time and quickly realized unless you specified all water would be sparkling/carbonated.
The inch of water in the glass is so accurate 💀 as is the fear of ice. And the desire to add syrop to every drink. I get this in Poland too. I try to drink ice water and before i know it I'm thanking my auntie as she hands me the hot water with raspberry syrup that she talked me into - in 80 degree weather. 😆
You nailed every accent
Didn’t a KAREN (50's plus) take a bar to court because they didn't ask for ID, stating they had maliciously thought she was over 18. She won the case and now they ID everyone.
The judgment! Move to other places folx and experience something else that can also be ok. lol
Thank you! This is really to know.
We do ?!
Not Quebec French
don't they serve water for free in the restaurants usually?
Nope.
Yes yes yes
