  • After my night camping my second day begins with a journey across the border into Cornwall, there we arrive at the Launceston Steam Railway. The Launceston Steam Railway runs for two and a half miles from Launceston to Newmills, where there is an independent farm park, along the trackbed of the North Cornwall Railway. In addition to the journey on the railway, we take a look around the transport museum at Launceston station, with a mix of rail and road vehicles on display.
The Launceston Steam Railway offers a family friendly day out, and when combined with the Farm Park gives plenty for young children to do.
