    So glad to see you guys teaching stuff like this. Tasers and guns have no real place in these situations when you have competent people trained to control another human being's body. Ive said for years cops could learn a lot from COs in this regard, forget about Gracies.

    • @Zankaru
      @Zankaru 7 років тому +1

      Tasers are an amazing tool. Have you ever been tased yourself? I have, and seeing a cop with a taser makes me think twice about resisting. That is a deterrent that an officer can actually use if someone attacks anyways without killing the suspect.
      Daily reminder that grappling is for 1v1 only.

    • @MrDylanHole
      @MrDylanHole 7 років тому

      I think resisting arrest comes from a severe lack of thought, let alone having to think twice about it. What the fuck, Zankaru?

      AmsterdamHeavy people have died from tasers due to heath condition

    • @Zankaru
      @Zankaru 7 років тому

      Less than a thousand in the last ten years, and most of those were due to improper use of the taser due to bad training combined with serious health conditions. We don't need to outlaw tasers, we need to force police agencies to have nationwide standardized training requirements instead of setting their own training so there is less abuse of their tools. Even then there will still be deaths when people resist arrest regardless of what tools you provide, except less tools will result in higher death rates in police instead of suspects.
      To put that in perspective, do you know how many people have died from Alcohol? Hundreds of thousands. Drugs, hundreds of thousands. Car accidents in those same ten years, it's over a million and counting. Are you ready to outlaw those completely, or do you accept that there will always be a minority that abuses a tool?

I know when you study BJJ you become a more confident, calmer, forgiving person. Teaching people this can lead to a more loving, less violent society. Hopefully this will spread throughout the world, you are doing Gods work. Thank you, from the Rainbow man.

    • @jomess7879
      @jomess7879 7 років тому +2

      no, i dont get stupid memos, i get memos based in fact. a fact i have found is that the only people who think cops are criminals are people who are actual criminals who cant handle the fact that are consequences to acting like an idiot. i also dont argue with fools because i dont want to be pulled to your level

    • @TheEnneagram
      @TheEnneagram 7 років тому +1

      jomess7879 If you think that cops are not criminals, then a) your head is full of stupid memes and, b) you don't know what crime is. In the real world, a crime is an act which involves an involuntary victim - law is NOT a measure of criminality. In fact, in the real world, law is simply an opinion with a gun. So, when cops rob and extort their victims under threat of kidnapping and violence (which ALL cops do) then, objectively, they ARE exactly criminals. If you can't see this, then you have been successfully brainwashed. Do the math...

    Here’s the big issue all of this puts heavy emphasis on the non dominant hand the ankle twist is perfect bid the suspect is unarmed but if the suspect is armed your getting shot in your back if he doesn’t take his right leg and swing it across your face. The only practical one is the second one where you are able to see their hands at all time and your in a position where if they had a weapon it would be difficult for them to fire at you
