Nothing quite beats a fully stocked pantry! We absolutely loved Christchurch when we were there. Now we're working seasonal jobs nearby so we get to go back and explore on our days off!
Absolutely! Although we seem to be flying through groceries so quickly these days, it adds up 😅 That's so exciting! We're travelling for the next month and a half then will be settling in to work for awhile and save 👍 not such a bad life eh!
Nice video Brittany - but as an NZer, it would be nicer/brighter/warmer to avoid NZ in June/July and August. The "Shoulder" seasons are nice but winter not so great. Obv you have your own travel program/timings to do.
We live here so can't avoid the winter unfortunately! I can tell you your winter is absolutely beautiful compared to a Calgary winter so this is very easy on us.
great video to watch and relax , would be nice if you do some other videos about some cool places in Nz to settle down affordable cost of living flats & houses & job opportunities . Thanks
I know it's been talked about. I think it's just not been the priority. I'm from Hamilton rather than Christchurch, and a local will know more about what's going on. But I believe the original site is no longer suitable for large structures, so they can't just rebuild the old stadium.
Hi there, thanks for postings beautiful places in NZ , am from Dubai UAE and i have intention to live in Canada in coming years but at the same time want to visit NZ & AUS too to see what they have to offer . what is your advice 😊
Lovely!! Canada is a fantastic country, so massive and lots of diverse areas to choose from. My vote is always for western Canada, I think it's the most beautiful (Vancouver Island to Calgary). As for NZ, the south island is much better so far for hiking and sights. I prefer those things but if you like beaches and bigger cities, the north Island is perhaps a better choice. You definitely need a vehicle to experience this country, I think renting a campervan would be ideal. Haven't been to Australia yet!
thanks for replying back. what about Nz & floods? where to live to avoid floods or whatever ? Auckland where city is ? thanks waiting for your city center posts 😊
@@ahmadalqiwani4467 Auckland's been having a lot of flooding this year and it's a very expensive city. I would recommend Christchurch as it is smaller and affordable.
The Bridle Path is how the original ChCh British settlers got from Lyttelton to ChCh, walking or on packhorses. Lots of decent wineries in the ChCh region as well as the breweries.

I just checked out some of your videos, so cool! I've subscribed and am excited to follow your future travels 🙂
@@brittanymorgan09 can't go wrong with it! Travelling and then picking up seasonal work as and when. Seems a pretty good life!

Thank you! Right now, we are just travelling but in a couple of months we will be job & apartment hunting so definitely content like that to come 😀
Hi Brittany, love the videos! Keep up the great work
Thank you!! I appreciate the support so much ❤️❤️
haha don't worry, Christchurch is currently building a new stadium! the orange theory is all temporary haha
I heard about that!! It'll be so lovely once it's completed 😊
The rugby stadium in Christchurch was damaged in the 2011 earthquake, and had to be demolished. The current stadium was built as a temporary solution.
Ah that makes sense! Do you know if there are plans to build a new stadium?

@@mdnickless good to know, I'll ask some locals about that and look into it online!
@@brittanymorgan09 It's a work in progress and the costs keep rising. Should be good when it's finished.

Oh that's amazing history! I didn't know that, will have to hike around there again while we're in the area.
@@brittanymorgan09 Lots of good walking tracks around the hills. I tend to prefer summer walking though.
