Well what a day…!
We booked onto a street food tour and ended up with the best guide we could have asked for :)
We started off in the markets , trying local fruits and then things got WEIRD!
We went down a slippery slope of garlic drinks & jackfruit sausages and ended up with buffalo curd!

I really like the name of your channel "Through Our Eyes" as it is very appropriate for 2 travelers seeing things through your videos. I would have a hard to time choosing a dish as I am not familiar with cuisine from Sir Lanka. Have to ask about the dish you had for dessert, was the sauce something sweet like Maple Syrup? It really looked like Ice-cream so I guess you were surprised when it tasted sour.

So the dessert was buffalo curd and without the sauce it would not be worth eating 🤣the sauce is treacle it helps change the taste a little
