Online dating SUCKS! I did it from 19-25 and nothing of quality was on there and after a while, if you live in the same area, you start to see the same people over and over. I can honestly say after 20 years of online dating, on and off, I never met a guy who didn't just want to hook up or wasn't a pure liar. Never got physical with them, but it's demoralizing. Stay away ladies. I never had ANY luck.

I wish you would have waited at least two years after marriage before getting pregnant. Even after you marry a man, you have to see how he’ll turn out AT LEAST two years after marriage. I pray your marriage and your husband are genuine.
Within the last month, I have met 3 men in person. All 3 were full of ish! After date 1 with one, he invited me over to "chill." Hard pass. The second one, the way he moved, was either married or had a live-in woman. The third was a chronic texter and went missing a lot. I did online dating right around Covid and Tony isn’t lying! The guys were trash and the ones who I thought I clicked with ended up being VERY WEIRD or a horn dog. I said all it take is ONE TIME ☝🏽Haven’t been online since, meeting people in real life is way better.
So, you hit the nail right on the head about the 1% of men who date online being a little off. I've experienced that myself. However, we can't meet someone at work because HR will be involved. We also can't meet men at church because they are there with their wives/girlfriend/fiancée and most of the time they don't bring that single guy friend either. This brings me to my next point which is there's a larger number of single women in church vs men. As a matter of fact, chuch attendance is lower than what it was in previous generations. So, meeting your spouse in church doesn't work like it used to. We've also been advised to not meet men at a bar because of the "bar scene" and we all know how that goes...the same as online dating. So that leaves me to my next point which is singles events. I can count how many times there are singles events for people over 50 compared to my age range (30's) and when there is a singles events there's very little to no men that do show up. Some of the singles events I've gone to, I've been friend zoned. So if online dating is this bad and there's little to no places to meet men then where do we go??? Back to online dating.

Within the last month, I have met 3 men in person. All 3 were full of ish! After date 1 with one, he invited me over to "chill." Hard pass. The second one, the way he moved, was either married or had a live-in woman. The third was a chronic texter and went missing a lot. Wherever you meet a guy, you still have to decern each and every one! Take your time to get to know everyone.

He had a whole day of events planned and I was so excited...horseback riding, rodeo parade, Texas bbq, etc(I’m from NC so all of this was new to me) …Did a background check the night before and he had so many DV charges 🤦🏾♀️ even assault on a pregnant female and one assault with deadly weapon inflicting serious injury on one of the dv victims. I did online dating right around Covid and Tony isn’t lying! The guys were trash and the ones who I thought I clicked with ended up being VERY WEIRD or a horn dog. I said all it take is ONE TIME ☝🏽Haven’t been online since, meeting people in real life is way better.
So, you hit the nail right on the head about the 1% of men who date online being a little off. I've experienced that myself. However, we can't meet someone at work because HR will be involved. We also can't meet men at church because they are there with their wives/girlfriend/fiancée and most of the time they don't bring that single guy friend either. This brings me to my next point which is there's a larger number of single women in church vs men. As a matter of fact, chuch attendance is lower than what it was in previous generations. So, meeting your spouse in church doesn't work like it used to. We've also been advised to not meet men at a bar because of the "bar scene" and we all know how that goes...the same as online dating. So that leaves me to my next point which is singles events. I can count how many times there are singles events for people over 50 compared to my age range (30's) and when there is a singles events there's very little to no men that do show up. Some of the singles events I've gone to, I've been friend zoned. So if online dating is this bad and there's little to no places to meet men then where do we go??? Back to online dating.

We need to be careful, no matter who we meet or where we meet them. For instance, I met my ex-husband at the corner store after work, but he mentally abused me for 7 years. It was only through the power of Jesus that I was finally able to break free. On the other hand, I met my first husband in a club when I was 22. He was a loving and kind man, but I wasn't mature enough to appreciate him at the time. My point is that we should pray and trust in God to guide us to the right partner.
