Vegan meatloaf recipe: • How to Make Vegan Meat...
GREEN JALAPEÑO RANCH RECIPE:
2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup vegan mayo (I used Hellmann's)
2 handfuls of baby spinach
2 tbsp lemon juice
2-3 tbsp juice from a jar of jalapeños
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cane sugar
Blend until smooth. Chill and shake well before serving!

I just made the jalapeño ranch, had to sub vegan sour cream for the mayo, and soy milk instead of almond. THIS SAUCE IS SO YUMMY!! I'm sure it'll be even better when i make it with the correct ingredients! Thanks Nikki! Your recipes are always delicious and so fresh!!

Hi, can't wait to make the jalapeno sauce! In the voiceover you mention including some pickled jalapenos, but the written recipe says just a few T of juice from the jar. Did you add the actual jalapenos or just the juice? Thanks.
Thanks for bringing that up! Sorry for the confusion. It's just the brine in the dressing and I sometimes put more pickled jalapeños on the actual burger 😊😊 Hope you enjoy!

haha I hear you! In my experience that happens when it's not very fresh! Like it can be dry and unpleasant. But when it's fresh it's tender and peppery and really nice with a punchy, vinegary dressing. If you don't like it though, no sweat. There's way to many delicious foods on this planet to eat something you don't like. Eat what makes you happy 😊

I live in an area where's there's no all vegan establishments so supporting the ones with the options will send the message that there is a market for it. (I live in cattle/pork farming country. 😔)
I totally agree! I find that creating a demand for vegan items in non vegan places is a slow but important step towards creating more options for everyone. I know it's hard though, so sending you a big hug. That's honestly why I started learning vegan baking and make my own homemade treats. When I first went vegan, there weren't a lot of comfort foods like cakes and cookies and familiar flavors so I recreated my favorites at home with what I had. There were a lot more options in the years to follow, especially when I was living in LA, but the first few years were a different story. My friends and I would drive for hours to go to vegan festivals or try new vegan restaurants in another town because it was so exiting to find vegan burgers and tacos and donuts and stuff like that. Those experiences led to a lot of experimenting in the kitchen and now I have tons of recipes that use pretty simple ingredients if you ever need any recommendations. Sweet or savory, just let me know. I'm more than happy to help 😊😊

We need to up our game and not support any restaurants that have vegan options only go to places that are all vegan! Don't u agree if not we are still supporting suffering, ,,can u help by telling all your followers and not going to non all vegan restaurants?
Idk, we also go to non-vegan supermarkets. Every smaller business is in a way funded or supported by a major complex that supports suffering. This is the world...not directly supporting suffering is the best choice we can make.
I think you are wrong. You are only going to decrease your options by boycotting places that are trying to accommodate your needs. Be grateful these business are thinking of you at all.
