    Badminton isnt easy , i just started playing in October 2021 and puting my heart and soul in learning , i joined a academy at 37 years
    Old doing shuttles runs and set of 16 drills 2x an hour a day and play daily 2 hours after that .
    But im dedicated to be the best at my club. After playing and taking a
    Shower i can barley move! I LOVE badminton!!!!

      Good luck on your journey man, keep it up 👍🏻 it sure is hard to learn new thing when you're not that young anymore, moreover its badminton, one of the most technical sport in the world. I suggest u focus on learning about footwork and rotation more, then learn proper grip after, bcs no matter how powerful you're, it wont work at all without positioning yourself correctly

    Now, I have come to know that, even pros use these YONEX strings we use (intermediate club players)

      Yea the technology has advanced so much. I remember taufik hidayat and tan boon heong said they used a 2u rackets 🤯 nowadays even 5u racket could generate fair amount of power with the correct technique

      i think because of balance on they racket if they use 295-300mm++ many use 4u if 285-290 they use 3u

      I think 4u is best. Easy to swing, less energy. Also the technology make it good to generate power.

    Great content. I have a question Most of the racket brand suggest that the string tension should be 28 lbs, but almost every pro player string their racket 32 lbs. is that ok with the racket..

    Really surprised but not surprised at how consistent the top players are in their choice of racket, strings and tension. BG65Ti and BG80 very common and old school

    I tot Ahsan's racket Victor Auraspeed 100x 4u max tension should be at 28lbs only..but based on ahsan, he string it at 31 lbs.... think I can try to string my auraspeed 100x at 30lbs...hopefuly it doest break....😁

    Denmark pair and the daddies doesn't want to hurt their sponsor, thats why they don't tell the real string they use because its from competitor brand ( i don't think the Denmark pair using Li-Ning No. 1 string )😂😂😂

      I had seen a vlog by Gronya Somerville (who uses Li Ning rackets) in some tournament where she had her rackets strung by the Yonex stringing team.

    For me 4U is more flexible in playing with speed or with power or even both,while the 3U in some ocassions gives me lack of reaction in defense and drive exchange.
    The result of smash using 3U is amazing

      I still using BG 65ti with 32lbs in my Old School Yonex Carbonex 10. I think this string so much stronger durability and feeling enjoyed to play all-around or power. Mantap.

    Hello CK,
    I am a 13 year old county player and have just broken the strings on my astrox 100zz. However when I was taking the strings out I believe I may have pulled out some of the grommets at the bottom. The corresponding exterior places (idk what they're called) also no longer have any grommets/places where the string goes through.
    Is this fixable because if not I'm looking to order the Victor Thruster F Enhanced Edition.
    Many Thanks for your help.

      I've using this for over a decade. It's an old string, no wonder CK was saying to them 'old school' It lasts longer. Surprised that they're not using the latest Yonex strings.

      Heavier, more sluggish. But perhaps a touch more power if you can wield it well

    I have all those racquet 99 sunshine orange, 99 pro and 88 d which are 4U but the weight 87gr 😅😅😅😅

      Rackets are weighed empty. If yours is 87g but strung then it will be correct.

    No wonder they are breaking the strings so often if the tension is so high! I've tried maximum of 11 kilos and they use something like 13,5 or even 14,5 kilos. The sweet spot is crazy small with those tensions.

    It's something I just found out from this vid that they use different string brands to their rackets, but the stencil logo 😂
