Good thing you've also driven along San Pascual Road (Asin Road) going to Baguio, which consists many inclined/declined blind curves. I've been driving a 2020 BR-V on the same road going to La Union and back to Baguio almost everyday and have averaged 12.5-15 km/l. Btw, those who wants to try driving along that road, try your best not to cut lanes on these curves, most especially the one near the checkpoint.
Am planning to get BRV and my concern is the power in going up to Baguio. Is it powerful enough to bring its passengers without any hiccups? Considering the engine is only 1.5. I had a bad experience with Eco Sport and by that I am having doubts with a 1.5 engine with that size (compared to a sedan).
It would be nice to watch you guys add NVH levels at example idle.. at 100kph.. Etc.. On reviews.. It will surely help a lot of viewers/buyers in comparing cars..
the host may have forgotten to mention that only the top-spec, most expensive variant has cruise control - a feature that is available in midrange variants of some/other mpv brands which are priced lower than the S variant of the BRV.

As a brv owner, i don't know with the phillipines version of it but in Indonesian version of the brv (i think yours is imported from us) when it's raining, the roof will be too noisy. My suggestion is for the future new brv owner's, try adding an extra insulation on your roof. Sometimes it'll make you a bit irritated since the audio quality isn't good either.
One thing that no reviewer that i know of has mentioned is the that steering wheel controls are NOT illuminated on all models except for the top of the line. So night driving you have to do by feel/memorize or have a flashlight lol. What a bummer!

This is true. One might think the Veloz interior is plush and premium due to the two-tone color and the "ambient lighting" but based on driving both, BRV definitely has the better interior between the two with material quality and feel.
Hoping to see a comparo of the BR-V S CVT and the top spec Avanza. :) Kinda leaning towards the Avanza because of the 100k difference in price, but the quality of materials in the interior made me think... Still on the fence.
Just saw this and veloz last weekend., At first my bias was with veloz but when I saw Brv my mind had a 180. The aesthetic of the Brv is way better than the veloz, I Can say that veloz is larger inside but quality of material is better on Brv. Veloz is also lower compared to brv. In terms of customizability, just put black mags with Brv (rays, rota) and it will look like an RS model.

No. Insulation is typical terrible honda, road noise, rain noise you name it. Flimsy cheap plastics all around, painful seats for long trips. Reliability of rivals is the same as long as maintained properly. And the killer is the price
