Makes it hard to listen to some albums because the live quality is so good. Great sound engineers. On top of being incredibly talented musicians, they've surrounded themselves with top notch people
We really are here for you homie! You would be surprised! Stay strong and ride the wave ebb and flow it will not last the valley you are in and you will be at a peak again soon!
I have listened to the song Bleed so many times I can't even count and tonight while re-watching Alive, I decided to put the speed at 75% at the beginning to really dissect and appreciate the beat structure. Putting it back to normal speed mid song was actually mind blowing. The speed, beat and note count are so insane at normal speed that I can't believe they can play this song with such accuracy. Really put a fresh perspective on a song I kind of became jaded to. Also, I highly recommend anyone to listen to Meshuggah songs at 75% speed to experience pure crushing death.
I remember me and a grouo of my true fan friends saw them in NYC on this tour... Half of the concert was spent losing my shit in the pit, the other half was comprehending how a band can sound so heavy, clean, and amazing at the same time. Unreal experience. We are in the Bleed video for like two seconds too
In space no one can hear you scream, that's Alien right? I remember reading a book on Alien. It describe how they found the eggs and one of the guys got a tube into his mouth, it forced itself in there like a fat worm. Etc. That's the sort of entertainment we enjoyed in the past!
Saw them live for the first time in San Fran in 2022, saw them again in 2023 in Sacramento. I’ve been to about 30 concerts but Meshuggah are the only 2 metal shows I’ve been to. Life changing experience. Best concerts I’ve been to by far. Made a vow to see them any time theyre within 4 hours of me. Hope you get a chance to see them!
Hello. If you want to protect your ears from acoustic impact, I recommend that you use a piece of cotton. Put it in such a way that you have your hearing protected,(do not plug) but at the same time, that it lets you hear. Thank you.
@@MrTelorix Has that "smiley" become unpopular in the last 20 years? I think so, too. I dig so many different genres and styles and bands (from Mysticum, Miles Davis, Burzum, Black Sabbath, Velvet Acid Christ, Current 93, to A-Ha, Beyond Creation etc. pp.), but Meshuggah is one of those bands i do not and possibly will never understand.
@@Sinvist has it ever been popular? Meshuggah is all about the groove. Sometimes its repetitive, but you need to lean into it and let the waves crash over you. I didnt like them in the beginning, but maybe they will grow on you as well
It is what is cool with metal, they have ten times more complex music, but the other stype musicians are these who somehow still manages to fcuk everything up playing three notes

People in Tokyo saw the greatest metal band of all time and didn’t even notice?
*This band was way ahead of its time.*
Why does even this feel like an understatement? Lol
more like a band behind the times lol

the fucking opening of this is ridiculous.
"lets all play our own time signatures....and headbang in sync with those" lol this band is inhuman.
I’m convince Meshuggah is the best metal band ever.
FACTS!
And they don’t need to do much convincing.
That is an objective fact!

Same here buddy. Stay strong as they say.
Meshuggah has the best trousers: stylish, practical *and* hard-wearing - crucial for the modern day mathemetalic combo on tour.

Seeing Meshuggah was a life changing experience
Aphex Twin \m/
@ThinKwiQ which year did you see them in NYC and where did you stand/sit? I got plenty of pics and videos from the 2019 show
@ThinKwiQ where were you in the 2019 show?
I can't wait to see them in a few weeks. Also a massive Aphex Twin fan.
@ThinKwiQ send me a way to contact you and send you the pictures, I have quite a few looking back to that side from the front centre
They are all masters at what they do, and together they are just perfect
love this kind of lightning instead of the modern disco flash lights, this looked soooo sick, quintessential meshuggah
100% agree to this!

Fuck they should be proud
Why Would gods be jealous of themselves?
I think they’re ashamed…of themselves because Meshuggah is holding up a mirror at them!

one of my all time favorite albums, any band any genre. The live meshuggah sound is overwhelming, pravus is so fucking good.

Ass whooping performances by Meshuggah, especially in Japan. Legendary DVD.
hahaha
Electric Red is just like hearing the studio version. These guys never cease to amaze the living shit out of me
I wonder if they were using axe fx ultras this tour, considering picking one up just cause these guitar tones are just the best i’ve ever heard
This DVD/CD set is great and highly recommended for any Meshuggah fan.
Finally, I can finally play along to (most of) this on my 8 string 🤘🤘
I wish i was so good at playing too ahahaha!
Which are the songs that you're still not able to play?
Jesus, look at that crowd. Props to them they didn't let Meshuggah down that night. For clarity, I wasn't there (wish I was).
