this could have been an amazing game for maybe during the events between origins and asylum or maybe even after knight but they had to make what literally nobody asked for. wb literally is allergic to making money
VR is such a fucking gimmick, i remember when they tried to introduce 3D TV and video game developers are some 3D compatible, and no one fucking liked it. I really hope VR fails miserably.
As much as this is disappointing, I'm not gonna count it out until I see the gameplay of it. Also let's not forget that Conroy wasn't the only person to play Batman in the Arkham series. If this is going to take place sometime before Asylum, then it's likely we're gonna see Roger Craig Smith come back, and there have been moments where I've prefered his take on the characters compared to Kevin.
Vr games have come a looong way since arkham vr, everyone without vr thinks its stuck in its 2016 era. This wont be an hour long demo, its gonna be an actual game with (hopefully) great and immersive gameplay. There are already 4 great mainline arkham games, and us vr players have been eating scraps for the longest time until Assassins Creed which was a great. It was an expansive game with large open world level design, amazing stealth gameplay, great gadgets like smoke bombs and knives, plus it had over 15 hours of content. If ac nexus is anything to go by, this new arkham game will likely have great predator sections, gadgets, traversal and level design, but only time will tell
People are bitching way too much about this, bruh. For real. Game hasn't even come yet nor have we seen shit from it yet. Besides, the only way that VR is ever gonna grow as a console in the mainstream is through a big popular IP. And what better IP than Batman. If you search up the studio's webpage, you can tell that they care about the universe and legacy of this world. Also, There is no way this takes place slightly before or after Arkham Knight. First off, 2016's Arkham VR already has that covered. This game has to be in BETWEEN Origins and Ayslum. According to an Arkham Story in Arkham City, Ractcatcher is killed by Penguin before the events of City. Also, Batman's suit in this game is a no brainer as well. It looks like a hybrid of Origins and Ayslum's base suits rather than the metal armor of Knight, further indicating that this is a bridge in that time gap we don't see. Also, Roger Craig Smith, the voice of Batman in Origins and Blackgate, retweeted the trailer.
Are you guys excited for this new entry in the Arkham franchise? Let us know your thoughts 🤔🦇
They finally bring Ratcatcher outside of Easter eggs, and it had to be a VR game.

They just can't stop diluting the franchise. I am so disappointed. Once a revered series, now gone to waste
Down the gutter 😭💀
Made by the Iron Man vr developers
No f’ing way
It won’t be the same without Kevin
No Conroy, No thanks.
Couldn’t say it better ourselves 🦇
Kevin Conroy ain't the only one who voiced Batman, pal. Roger Craig Smith also voiced him so chill.
Kevin is the GOAT. Rodger Craig Smith did do a great job as a young Batman.

I just hope it plays like Assassins Creed nexus if so then there is a bit og hope for it being good
I don’t count anything past knight canon
👑
This isn't even post-Knight, dude...
So disappointing, 10 years since a real Arkham game, I just don’t understand WB’s thought process
Here’s your answer: there is none 💀
