I have a shite fan I use at work and it gets a ton of dust in it.. I'm too lazy to take it apart, so it gets sprayed with brake cleaner and then dowsed in wd 40 screams like a banshee every time I start it in the morning. I like to think it's crying for help. it literally only shuts up when I smack the shite out of it; i love that fan.

Take it apart and add 3 in 1 motor oil in the bearings to increase the life even more! every 2 years I service my house fans
