@@John-kx3ng On the surface it looks decent. But I don’t see any American style in it. It is obviously a European small vehicle and those don’t generally work in the US.

They're getting bailed out because American voters would crush them at the polls. No politician is letting an iconic American brand disappear on their watch.
Let them go under. They are no longer an American company and I am tired of this corporate socialism in our country. Force the corporations and UAW to feel nervous and actually make affordable products for the customers.
@mikekring0420 labor costs for big 3 auto manufacturers is about $73 an hour. That is too expensive when you consider the build quality when compared to other brands like Toyota/Honda. The UAW is part of the reason American cars are so expensive with poor build quality.
I don’t mind paying for a more expensive vehicle that was assembled in the USA. I don’t like seeing Americans losing jobs that go overseas. That just means a company is greedy if they move jobs overseas. #ProtectAmericanJobs
There's some real de ja vu here. I was about 10 years old at the start of the Arab oil crisis. Chrysler got caught bloated, sitting on a bunch of gas guzzling inventory, plus they used to lease to the car rentals who would rent them out, then send them back with 20K or so on the odometer. It literally put Chrysler "Program" cars in direct competition for new sales. New sales got more rebates which drove down the program cars. It was one of the first messes that Lee Iacocca had to clean up.
Honestly it’s not just Galantis. It’s most corporations that drunk on the market distortion this decade and think they can fundamentally change their businesses not realizing there has to be a market move back towards the previous normal. The house of cards they built is about to start crumbling
Stellantis is in dire straits and headed towards bankruptcy at a rapid rate. So sad and unfortunate that iconic American brands Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep are suffering because of the poor leadership decisions and direction Stellantis has gone since 2021 (only three years of arguably irreversible damage)!
I don’t know why they didn’t just offer the legacy powertrain along side the new powertrain. let the consumer decide if they want to pay the tax for the V8.
Bankrupt! Bankrupt! Bankrupt! Baby! 😂 I want Stellantis to go bankrupt and they sell the Chrysler brands to Frank Rhodes a Chrysler heir. I want the Chrysler brands to survive so let us hope they can survive again. Hopefully they will learn their lesson and NOT sell out to a stupid foreign company ever again
What do you expect . Carlos goes on record saying our people are building junk. Why would you buy anything from a company where the head guy says their product is junk .
Ghosn actually was a decent CEO had he not laundered corporate money to buy himself assets. But Tavares is a dirtbag to the core with no skill and just pure arrogance.
Well, it won’t. I don’t think the U.S. will be willing to help out a foreign corporation now. I live in Michigan and am from a automotive worker family (I was smart and got on the fire department) and people here don’t want them bailed out. When Carlos said they are NOT and American company, they might as well be Toyota or Honda now.
if/when stellantis declares bankruptcy there's usually a forensic accounting performed back to a certain date and irregularities come to light, Tavares may be fired due to willful negligence in regards to carrying out his duties, then the divestment begins and Chrysler/ Dodge / Ram may become American companies again. we can only pray....
Id be good if they closed up shop today. Every product we liked has been disconitnued, nudered, or marked up to rediculous prices. Nothing interesting coming down the pipe, and even if there was the prices would be insane and the quality would be low. Its over.
I could not believe they cancelled the Cherokee. Right when the mid-size SUV market is exploding...... Never mind the new Grand Cherokee, it's 30% larger than the previous version (which was the perfect size) and costs 50% more.
35k is way to high for a wrangler. It dam near leads the class in suck with that anemic v6. 65k is still crazy for a wagoner. It's got to be competitive with other large Suvs. I loath all things gm, but will the qc problems jeep is having it would have to be seriously under a suburban price tag. I'd take pretty much any over a wagoner like a Nissan Armada. I believe those the cheapest large SUV.
Right Now if you enforced pulling dealer franchise agreement for markups the dealers be like “Thank God - You Promise?” 😂 Got build something they can keep p selling!
I own 2 Rams and have no interest in selling. The Ram brand is to valuable for another manufacturer not to purchase them should it actually ever come to that.
I would never buy a Chrysler Product and I would sure as heck would not buy a Stllantis Product, not until they make a decent vehicle. I don't see that happening. They may be big in Europe and more power to them, but they may end up getting drummed out of the U.S.
If I were the board of directors I would immediately fire Carlos and literally by any means possible work out a deal with Tim Kuniskus to run the company.

If the Chinese EV makers were allowed to compete in the US, US auto companies (with the possible exception of TSLA) would be destroyed. Even with all of the government subsidies for EV's, US auto companies are failing in EV design and development. Due to the laws of physics, you can't make large, heavy vehicles with large heavy batteries efficiently and at a price that most can afford even if they want an EV.
