This looks good, it will be my first time in the Middle East and glad that they have English signs. I just hope most people speak English like in the Philippines.

Woww this is one of the easiest to understand concerning transfer at Hamad Doha, now I still have to getout from Seattle Tacoma SEATAC lol...so confusing
Very useful
Very informative, thanx
Thank you 🥰
Thx man. I’m going to Philippines at June 30 with my local Qatar airways Boeing 777! It’s because I’m at Qatar that’s why I use and love Qatar airways!
Agree, Qatar Airways is a great airline.
to me it is very informative, with diagram
Good imformation
Thank you :)
Has anyone travel to doha on transit before your final destination during this covid period? What's acceptable if you are traveling from the US? Pcr test or ART test is good? Do you have to fill up any online form?
A big thank you for your video! Also one question, if I am getting a connecting flight/ transfer with the same airline, do I need to worry about getting my luggage before passing through security again ?
Thank you very much :) No, normally the airline will check your luggage to your final destination. You can ask/check this during check in.
hi! thank you for such a great video. I have a few questions if possible
my transit at doha is 45 mins and was wondering if you think that’s long enough? as i’m scared my flight may be delayed
also, during security, is it similar to pre-pandemic where you take everything out?
Sorry for late answer. 45 minutes is short, but should be ok, but you are very vulnerable if your flight is delayed. Yes, security is same before Covid19. Hope you have a great travel.
Hi Lulu, just wanted to ask whether you made the connecting flight, how smooth was the process? ive heard there are agents who wait for you when boarding off into airport to speed things up? do the security checks add any delay
Are they doing Qatar layover tours at the airport? I heard there is a desk there where you can book a tour just in case you have a long layover..
Yes there is, but I haven't done it myself yet, but I will do so in near future :) But you can find more information here : www.qatarairways.com/en/offers/doha-city-tour.html
Very nice, thank you for sharing! I will be traveling to Tanzania in Africa and looks like this airport will be my transfer. Seems to be my only choice. My layover will be around 5-9 hours depending on the flights I choose. From your experience, do you know if the airport allows people to sleep around or how are the lounges?
Thank you again for sharing!!
The airport is because of the Covd19 not crowded at all, so you shouldn't have any problem finding a quiet place to sit down and relax. I was using the Oryx Lounge. Not that big lounge, and the food selection was ok.
@@JustinThailand Great, I'm looking forward to it. Thank you.
سلام عليكم ورحمة الله 👍
I have a question. never been to transit flights. Are our baggages transferred automatically or do we need to checkout and checkin during 2nd flight?
Your baggage will normaly be checked in to your final destination. But just ask when you check in.
Hi,
Is Hamad international small enough that a 1hr stopover would suffice? Great video btw
Yes, I just arrived couple days ago, and I arrived at C12, departure from D3, one of the longer transitwalks, and I did it in 25 minutes. So, under normal circumstances you should have no problem with a 1 hour transit time.
Do you know if there are any outdoor areas to get fresh air at Hamad? I'm torn between transiting at Hamad or Abu Dhabi, which do you think is safer?
Sorry if hijacking, Hamad Doha is one of the nicest and easier for a newbie transit, Qatari one of the nicest, its just me
Hi Justin, is there a ticket office of qatar airways inside Doha airport? Coz i need to sorted my flight direct there if i can
I know there is a information desk in front of the Teddy Bear.
Hi i have a question do you think 55mins layover in qatar airport is enough to get to your next flight?
Under normal circumstances, it should be enough, and during the covid19 it should be enough though :) You will need about 10-12 minutes to the gates C,D and E.
Omg you are amazing! One quick question. Me and my soon to be husband will be going to the Maldives for our honeymoon. We have to do about a 12 hour layover in Doha. Do we need any visa requirements? Any extra documents?
Hi, im not sure about that. If you stay inside the airport, doing a normal transit, and spend your time e.g. in a lounge, you will not need any visa during your stay. If you choose to leave the airport, there might be some visa requirements.
Ohhh you guys are going too! I’m going with my parents for vacation. When we checked, as long as you stay in the airport you won’t need a visa or anything. Plus you can get the visa on arrival. I would check on their immigration websites to make sure.
@@JustinThailand what about go to another terminal? Do I need visa?
@@beautina Im not sure. What another terminal do you mean ?
Hi i want to know if do you have any idea about the transit requirements in Doha from cebu philippines to Dubai.
I dont know about the transit requirements. If you mean a normal transit, with no Covid restrictions, i havent seen any special requiremnets.
Hello if your transitting do you have to fill out the additional forums Nd download the app or is that if your entering Doha instead of just transitting. Thanks
No, if doing a transit there is no forms to fill out.
do they weight your hand bag in the gate or just in checkin with qatar airways? I just saw they dont accept laptop backpack, as a personal item so will need to cramp both in the handbag
I am not sure, I have not weighed my handbag at gate so far.
@@JustinThailand already went through the trouble, yes they do weight it on checkin and they make you put your backpacl inside the handbag and if is more than 7Kg bad luck you pay
@@toke182 Ok, good to know. I am traveling with Qatar again in 2 weeks, so good to know. Thanks for the info JP :)
PERFECT !!!!!
Thank you ❤️
Hello, do you know if there is a Extra Lane at the Transfer Security for Business Class Passangers????
Yes there is.
@@JustinThailand thanks for the Infos.
How to book the lounge?when you arrive the airport ,or when you are booking the ticket online?
It depends on which lounge you want to use. But if you have a ticket with Qatar Airways, you can book the lounge by logging into your account, and then Manage Booking, and you will be able to book lounge there.
I have a self-transfer connecting flight at Doha. It's my first time travelling internationally, I am 17 and travelling alone. I was wondering where I'll have to collect my luggage? I mean would there be different luggage belts for arrival and transfer?
Hi. The airline will normally check in your luggage to your final destination. During check in, you just ask the staff if they have checked in your luggage to your final destination. If they can't do that, and you need to collect your luggage and do a new check in, there is no difference luggage belts for arrival and transfer regarding collecting luggage.
@@JustinThailand
The two flights are booked under different PNRs. Does that change anything?
@@muzamilkelam2957 Im not sure. What airlines have you booked with ? If its in the same alliance they will normally check your luggage to your final destination. But to be sure, ask during check in. They will tell you if they can do or not.
@@JustinThailand
I don't think there is any inter airline alliance between them. One is Vistara and the other is QatarAirways
@@muzamilkelam2957 Yes, you probably right :) But do ask during check in for the possibility to send your luggage to the final destination. Sometimes they do.
Has anyone transfer from Doha to Ho Chi Minh City VN? My parents have a 1 hr transit. They are in their 70s. I'm worried. Do you know if or how I can get someone to help them get to their gate more quickly?
Hi. There are some payable services like Al Maha Services www.al-mahaservices.com/almaha. You can also check out the airports website www.dohahamadairport.com
My trasit is from doha to jeddha and waiting time is 70mins. I'm scared if it's enough or not. And for transit do I have to go for security check?
Normally, and if no big delays, 70 minutes will be enough. Regarding security control, I am not 100% sure :) When I arrive from Europe I have to go through the security control, but when im arriving from Bangkok, Thailand I don't have to go through the security control. I don't know why, but I will try to find out the reason. So as of now, I don't know if you have to go through the security control or not.
When transiting, do you need to go through custom? Or no? Thank you!
Sorry if hijacking, but the consensus is NO customs/immigration, yes security
@@ishadyishady6883 i mean immigration not customs 🙈
@@nomadcess no immigration too, as long as you are not exiting the airport 👍 have a nice flight 🤲
@@ishadyishady6883 perfect!!! Thank you!🙏🏻❤
@@nomadcess have a safe flight
I m gonna have 1 and half hours of transit in doha airport. Wish i dont miss the flight because i can see the airport is huge.
If you have 1 and half hour transit, you will have no problem catching the next flight. Its huge, but easy to navigate :)
Wow, that is a long layover...... might wanna check out the lounges, and just pay the entry fee, then you will have access to food and drinks. If not, find yourself a quiet area to relax in. Have a nice journey :)
Is it enough for 1 hour 40 minutes for transit?
Under normal circumstances, yes 1 hour 40 minutes is enough.
Hi, after reaching the gate for transfer, do we have to take the bus to board the next flight?
That might happens sometimes yes.
@@JustinThailand Great video! Thanks for the reply.
Do we have to claim baggage before transfer or they do that them self?
If you travel under 1 ticket, your baggage will be checked in for your final destination.
Hi, I only have 1hr connecting flight time in doha please advise me is it enough?
Under normal circumstances, yes 1 hour is enough. I would advise longer transit time, but normally 1 hour should be enough.
How much time do you need to get to a connecting flight is 45 minutes enough?
Normally, if no delays, 45 minutes is enough.
Er du fra Norge? 🇳🇴❤❤🇳🇴
Ja :)
Where do I get for my second boarding tickets? Do we already got it since the first check-in at first airport before we arrived at Doha or we have to check in again in doha?
Normally, if you have bought your connecting flights under 1 ticket, they will check you in, and give you boarding pass to your final destination. You can check this during check in, by asking the check in staff.
@@JustinThailand I see! I bought them in one go. There's two ticket in my electronic receipt in my email.
Is the two ticket with same airline ?
@@JustinThailand yeah qatar airways
Ok, then I think you will be ok, and they will check you in to the final destination. But to be sure, just tell them during check in :) Have a nice flight :)
My One Ticket To JFK : Qatar then connects with American airline : Do I Need To Go Customs Again?
When you check in, and they give you boardingpasses for your final destination, there is no need to go through custom again.
Thank you for very useful video 👍 , Is 2 hours enough for the transfer?
Sorry if hijacking, lets find it out, I also only have 2hours transit in Hamad before go to Seattle
Yes, 2 hours should be enough :)
Yess its enough time but the seat at Seattle Gate were so little we have to wait outside
My transit is 1hr50min will it be enough?
Yes, that will normally be enough time :)
@@JustinThailand Thanks
Is 2 hours enough for transit at this airport?
Yes, 2 hours Is enough for transit :)
I have 45 min it is enough??
Yes, normally that will be enough time.
Hi
Hi :)
hi..is it open visa for travel to Qatar nowdays?
Im sorry, but I don't know :)
Im having a 15 hours transit
And im travelling alone to australia ..
That is a long transit. Check out Qatars website to see if hou are eligble for a stop-over inside the city. If not check out available and payable lounges.
Doha airport sucks. Don’t buy the ticket if it says 8hours or more you’ll end up stranded at their airport everything super expensive including food. Had a 20+ layover no hotel was provided 6months preg with a child and the food voucher they gave didn’t work. I had to pay $160 for a mini bunk bed room no toilet or bath for 7 hours only. Worst airport to transit! Avoid them
So sorry to hear that. Even the Lounges is overcrowded. I have Priority Pass, but been told many times its full, and come back in 2 hour. The only place I found some place to sit down and relax, is if you go towards the Gate, you will find some lesser crowded places there. They sure need to do something about this. So, I agree with. you Tozzy, there should be some alternatives if you been stranded there, especially if you're pregnant.
AVOID DOHA & Qatar Airways!! Stucked transfers for 30hrs in doha last week before got my next flight.. Bad operators & ground!!
Wow, 30 hours...... What happened ? Was the transit of 30 hours not planned ? Delay of the flight ?
@@JustinThailand QA blaiming their partners for the delay eventhough operators alarming them 9hrs in advance. No Doha & QA fer me!
Sorry to hear that. Always bad when the airline not taking responsibility.
