After you take the biscuit out let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes before you cut it. Because it will still continue to cook after you take it out for about 3 minutes which will cook the inside a little bit more.
I tried this after I got mine, but I bought flaky biscuits and peeled them in half ( because they do that well) then I cooked one half... Then the other. Turned out good.
I preheat things that get brown before center's cook. Like chicken nuggies. Frozen fries and biscuits. For biscuits depending on type 30-60 seconds in microwave then using dash gets them cooked through but thicker and fluffier.
@@CounterCooking I thought it was counter cooking which could include a microwave. Anyway, to get the biscuit more done inside, perhaps cover it with some foil and let it sit a few minutes to finish cooking after you take it out.
Till now I've always hated the canned biscuits cuz they were always raw in the center. This is a brilliant answer to that problem ... especially for those of us who are living alone :D I am going to try freezing a couple at a time in a vacuum bag and see if they thaw out and bake ok. That would take care of the problem of having to cook up a whole can LOL! Other suggestions? I'm open :D
I put the raw dough on a parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze them individually. Once frozen, I put them in a ziplock bag. Then I defrost and use as needed.
Just found your channel…. I have and use a few Dash items, especially the egg cooker…. You mentioned a rhubarb blueberry jam. Was that by chance homemade? I grow rhubarb, and would love to add to my recipes for it…. lol I make a rhubarb crisp, sauces, and sometimes a pie….
I love your channel. Thanks, I’ve subscribed. I have the griddle and the egg bite maker. I want to make WW friendly version of flan in the egg bite maker. Do you have any suggestions
Hi if you look on Amazon for the Bella mini griddle they show a video of someone making a sort flan. I know because I looked into and that’s when I saw it
Hi COUNTER COOKING ...👋👋👋👋 Stop Cooking for the full 5 minutes , everyone can see you are borderline burning your biscuits.... There's one thing I bet you didn't try to make a better biscuit , done on the inside & not burnt ( hard / crispy ) on the outside ... 1.) Simply treat your biecuit like it's an English Muffin ...Put your biscuit in for only 3 mins .. 2.) Remove biscuit & FORK - SPLIT it like you would an English Muffin , turn both halves inside out ... 3.) Put biscuit back in for 1 more minute to finish cooking the still raw middle . 4.) Then check on biscuit to see if it's done , if not give it another 30 seconds , but that whole 5 minutes time is shown to be way too long to turn out a decent edible biscuit ...I would love to see you try the biscuit cooking challenge again & turn out some really great looking biscuits , coz you do know they sell BREAKFAST SAUSAGE GRAVY in Pouches that would make a great Full Complete Breakfast along with a DASH GRIDDLE HASH BROWN ........ Just think , instead of doing a Whole video on just one thing ( aspect ) of a DASH GRIDDLE , YOU'D be making a whole breakfast in just a few minutes ..... I do enjoy watching your videos , they are informative & entertaining , also you have a really nice voice.......🤗☺️🙂
LOL! NOT! I HAVE GERMAN FRIENDS WHO TAUGHT ME HOW TO PRONOUNCE IT. IT’S ALSO HOW THE EMPLOYEES IN THE STORE PRONOUNCE IT. HERE’S AN INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO FOR YOU - ua-cam.com/video/jXY2sMSAS0s/v-deo.html
Dash Mini Griddle on Amazon: amzn.to/2YHhM05

Just like microwave food.

Thank you! This is just what I was wondering.
When I want a biscuit, I use self rising flour, butter & liquid. I cook it in the Dash mini pie maker.
I may try that in the pie maker, where they have lots of room to rise. Thanks for letting us see it in the griddle!
Stretch the biscuit dough then put a spoon of nut butter and preserves then fold it over to seal it.😋
"That plate is a classic"! I remember when I used to live with my Grandmother back in the 60's those plates; ate plenty of pancakes off of them"!

The entire point of these videos is cooking without a microwave.
@@CounterCooking I thought it was counter cooking which could include a microwave. Anyway, to get the biscuit more done inside, perhaps cover it with some foil and let it sit a few minutes to finish cooking after you take it out.
We call them scones in New Zealand. We put jam and cream on as well.
Should make a drop biscuit batter from scratch and cook that.
And yes, this store-bought biscuit dough would make a great pizza base.
I prefer my small square dash. I can bake cakes in it to. And it is deeper. So it has a better rise to it
You mean the Dash Egg Bite Maker?
Just make your own dough and put in your pie maker no rolling or working dough is necessary no mess and you will have a very nice biscuit…..
These would make great breakfast sandwiches instead of the English muffins. Thank You for another great video!!
I'd say let the biscuit cool so the starch can set. Even though the outside is brown the inside can continue to cook as it cools.
I'm late watching this. My griddle is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I think it would be fun to make some mini biscuit dough pizzas.
I use bisquick mix on my mini griddle the best flatbread.
Some oil and butter delays the browning, allowing it to cook fully.
WOW that's a tasty sounding jam..... just hearing about it, makes me want some of that on a biscuit with butter 😳

Canned biscuitsand canned croissants freeze wellif you put parchment paper between them.
with cream on top & an cuppa, i would say,
that would be $4 to 5 dollars for your mourning tea.
Gerard.
So glad that I found your channel! We have the waffle maker, egg bites, griddle, and the pie maker!!
👍😁
Looks interesting but what do you do with the remaining biscuits. Maybe freeze them?
I put the raw dough on a parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze them individually. Once frozen, I put them in a ziplock bag. Then I defrost and use as needed.
Probably work better in the mini pie maker
Where do you get your small utensils? Thanks!
I got them at the Dollar Tree. :)
I bet it would be great for English muffins!
yes it is

Yes, I made rhubarb blueberry jam one year. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the recipe was.
I love your channel. Thanks, I’ve subscribed. I have the griddle and the egg bite maker. I want to make WW friendly version of flan in the egg bite maker. Do you have any suggestions
I don’t. I can look into it.
Hi if you look on Amazon for the Bella mini griddle they show a video of someone making a sort flan. I know because I looked into and that’s when I saw it
Wonder if you pulled the dough apart in the beggining and did it would you get a better cooked biscuit thin.
remind me of an English muffin it looks crispy, but I think you supposed to wait to cool down when you cut right into it
It has a biscuit flavor 🤣😂🤣
Yes. It did. Some don’t. 🤣🙄
Try frozen PILLSBURY BISQUITS THEN USE ONE at a time
All you have to do is let it sit a couple minutes. You felt how hot it was.
It’s like a crumpet...
It didn't have enough room to rise. I'll use my toaster oven for biscuits.
After placing it on a plate, it continues to cook, so allow five minutes to cool down.
Cool: I'll stick with the air fryer for biscuits.
Looks like the center of an English muffin.
What if you cut it in half?
It needs room to rise.
Looks like an English muffin
The first one looks like an English muffin.

God dang this video made me lose the only small amount of brain cells I had left.
Good! That’s great! You obviously didn’t need them.
@@CounterCooking He wasn'tusing them anyhow.
Spent a solid minute showing us how to open a can of biscuits...
Because many people don’t know how...
girl those don’t take 5 min to cook 🥸😂😂 it takes like 1 min
I don’t like them raw inside.
WOW that's a tasty sounding jam..... just hearing about it, makes me want some of that on a biscuit with butter 😳
