- Viseu is a Portuguese city in the homonymous district, located in the province of Beira Alta, Centro Region and Dão-Lafões sub-region. The city of Viseu has 59 469 inhabitants in its urban area. (2021) being one of the main cities in the Central region of Portugal and the most populous of the cities in the interior!
It is the seat of the municipality of Viseu with an area of 507.10 km² and 99,561 inhabitants (2021), divided into 25 parishes. Viseu is the center of the Viseu Dão Lafões Intermunicipal Community, comprising 14 municipalities and serving a population of around 270,000 inhabitants. It is limited to the north by the municipality of Castro Daire, to the northeast by Vila Nova de Paiva, to the east by Sátão and Penalva do Castelo, to the southeast by Mangualde and Nelas, to the south by Carregal do Sal, to the southwest by Tondela, to the west by Vouzela and northwest by São Pedro do Sul. In addition to being the seat of district and municipality, Viseu is also the seat of diocese and district.
According to an opinion survey organized by DECO in 2007 on quality of life, Viseu is the 17th European city with the highest quality of life among the 76 in the study, and the first of the 18 Portuguese district capital cities with the best quality of life . In 2012 it was considered, once again, the Portuguese city with the best quality of life. 2017 was the official year to visit Viseu. In 2018, Viseu was celebrated as the "European City of Folklore" through the Festival Europeade. In 2019, the city was designated as a Gastronomy Destination.

Obrigado Mário, infelizmente não sei informar sobre empregos em Viseu, o transporte é muito bom, na rodoviária tem uma empresa que o nome é MUV que roda dentro da cidade e também tem outras empresas que rodam para fora da cidade. Obrigado por nos assistir
