I've been using the Torque to HP calc for a while now. Never thought about factoring off 20% for rear wheel. It looks like it's really close too I think I will try it and adjust that 20 to calibrate it somewhat until it shows 0-1 hp when put in gear. Good stuff man!
I had these PIDs open while dyno tuning my car. Every time the dyno number went up, the PID number went up. And when it went down, the PID number went down. Not by the same amount, but I think it was good enough to use on the street without a doubt, and that's what I typically do. Just make sure it's the same stretch of road starting at the same mph to get rid of some variables.
Great video. I really dont care if the Horsepower is correct or not. What I do like is I can go off that # to see if im adding HP or loosing. If I want a true HP reading ill take it to a Dyno. Right now with your Math Parameter its saying 365hp @6,555rpm Thanks again!
Cant find delivered engine torque, in the add a channel. Is it for specific vehicles ? 2000 s10 i did the calculations but the engine torque ID stays red cause its not added to the channels.
Hi a21bravo... I have 98 camaro ls1, if i put long header, ORY, no cats, free mods, what do I need for a good tune, need modify some parameters? I already have the hp tuners.
is there a math for delivered engine torque I cant get it to pull up in my channels list but I can get it in the chart and graph do you know what I can do to fix this
Did this an I know damn well it’s off close to 200 horses . Mine stock is rated at 285 off the flywheel so when it’s registering only 160hp in a full pull I know it ain’t right
That's 285 in perfect conditions... At the flywheel 285-20%=228 rwhp. Then account for the commanded Af ratio being lean (14.7) and 160 ain't bad to the wheels with no tune. Adjust a few parameters and you'll see your 220 to the wheels pretty easily...maybe more

Max value for delivered torque is 640. So if you are expecting anything more than 650HP, you will see it cap on the graph.
I did this as a chart (vs graph) so I can see numerically at what RPM vs TPS the HP is.
Just curious if you've tested these numbers against any of your dyno sessions to see how close the estimate was?
No. I dont think very accurate. It's moreso a representation of airflow.

Michael Voigt This is how Horsepower is calculated... Torque x RPM/5252... The other part is just accounting for drive train loss.

Kinda late, but you might have to use trans torque. My vehicle doesn't have engine torque either. Trans torque works fine

Wow... Yeah, I'd think you'd have seen more than 10hp from all that... What kind of timing and afr?
Daniel Thompson commanded at 14.6 but it registers from 13-15 driving partially due to collector leak on bank 2 my timing is anywhere from 19.5 an up
