Just north of Cape Blanco, on the Oregon Coast, is the mouth of the Sixes River. The Sixes River has a wide mineral variety for rockhounds looking to explore a new spot. What beautiful finds! There are just some really awesome different brecciated rocks, and some beautiful jaspers, and rhyolites, quartzites, conglomerates, and cherts, etc! Such a variety of beauties in every colors imaginable! Thanks for the hounding tips!
Thanks for letting me know how I can improve Yula, that helps me tremendously. I want to make the best videos I can and your honest feedback helps speed up the improvement process. Thanks again and hope to chat with you soon ^^
I like the John Day Fossil beds, or Richardson’s Ranch, or anywhere along highway 26 once you’re about an hour past Google town. There is also the Lost Creek areas which are abundant in moss agates, as well as arrowhead and spear points. I can find tons of petrified wood in White City’s desert, or in the mountains of Shady Cove which is where I can also find many dendritic and many colors of jasper.
Did you ever figure out what the rock is at 4.30. I have a couple pieces of that. They polish beautifully but idk what it is. I thought maybe there was some common opal in it but still unsure. If you know let me know please!! Thanks
Found an unusual rock on the beach at Cape Blanco. I'm not sure what it is. Looks like a petrified item, maybe kelp? It feels like sandstone. Who can help me identify this.

Google town was wrong. I guess Prineville is more like Facebook Town.
