Pyrions standards on live-streaming in public means he’s surely okay with people pointing cameras into his home from the street or following his family around town right, after all it’s all public right? In my opinion it’s not so clear cut. If people are in the background then fair enough, but there are limits. Also I think no one has the right to deceptively broadcast your actions to thousands of people, this is a new problem which we haven’t had before the past 5 years or so and probably needs legislating
Helldivers 2 is a lot like the Earth Defense Force series imo. "EDF, EDF, EDF!" - would actually love if some of the yogs tried it, it's very camp but really fun
They've played EDF before! (not sure about pyrion) This was back during heydays of collaboration with Totalbiscuit. I vividly remember a clip of Sips first's interaction with TB in that collab.
The problem with irl streaming is that the space required is larger than the accepted personal space in a public area. To many bad actors have made the ones that aren't bad the enemy as well. The whole barrel is just poison.
Gobsmacked to hear Pyrion liked the new season of True Detective, it was atrocious in parts, plot hole central yet Flax liked it, what a timeline we live in
Pyrion was talking about IRL streamers who, if you aren’t familiar, are filming themselves, selfie style, and if a rando happens to be in frame a few seconds, big deal. So it’s more like saying it’s okay to see people, because they are in public.
I kind of got it, though. In my opinion, RDR2 is one of the greatest games of all time. It's like, the best movie I've ever watched. The characters are supremely compelling, and the vast amount of choices and design are amazing. But a LOT of the missions are either this or that. It's "ride alongside me on a horse for like ten minutes while we have a conversation" or "Come here and then you're fighting a hundred guys" I think they're done masterfully. There's always stuff to look at, something happening that the characters discuss that makes the world feel alive, it's all paced so well that I enjoy simply riding my horse and talking to this character who genuinely feels far more fleshed out than many characters from other games. I really feel like I get to know consistent, well-spoken (well-written dialogue I mean) people. And then feel the strain and tear as everything fell apart -- inevitable, because of course we know the age of the outlaws ended this way, but also to people who played RDR1 and can figure out some things based on that. My point is, I'm on the side of "It's an amazing game", but I get people who get bored by it. Sometimes it's pretty hard to tell going into a mission if it's going to be simple dialogue and going and doing something with no combat or high octane full blast Tarantino madness. So I can get people just not getting into it.
Lewis talks shit so confidently 😂 helldivers is made by the biggest game dev in the world? What? Helldivers 1 had nowhere near the success of 2 so its fair that they didnt expect over a million concurrent.
I'm with Lewis. I never finished RDR2. Uninstalled it after about 30h. Just got so fucking bored because none of the fucking choices you make actually matter.
Filming in public places risks the safety of people in Witness Protection Programs. This is rare, but still a legitimate concern. Additionally, even if you're in a public space people can't use your likeness in a commercial product (depending on your area's laws). Videos that can be profited on count. This is why background actors are paid professionals and not just random volunteers.
They didn't say squeamish, they just really want their own food. Which is true. My South Asian parents would bring a tonne of our own food if we travel to any Western country
The paul bunyon joke got me man, underappreciated
41:45 - Pyrion just letting the intrusive thoughts out lol
Arrow head is not AAA, they just have an exclusivity deal with sony
Always bugs me when Lewis says things like that so matter-of-fact
@@markw1238 he almost got fact checked in real time!!!
The way Flax pronounces "Sverige" is *adorable* . I'm glad he had a good time here, despite the cold.
What a welcoming intro :-) thanks dad's + LewLew
I’ve been loving masters of the air. Pflax has the best show recommendations, he never misses
This is precisely what I need this morning while commuting to school. Thank you 🙌

PYRION. I appreciated that Paul Bunyan joke. I turned off my adblocker and actually signed in just to tell you that I liked it.
Thanks.
I liked the Paul Bunyan joke
For a moment that title had me worried they were stopping the podcast lol
Laundry shop simulator
You need to clean the lint from the machines and collect the coins. And you need to do dry cleaning and all that

Cheers!!!! Though I don't agree recording people in public, it's like saying it's okay to stare at people, because they choose to be in public.

also, it’s completely legal to stare at people.
Balatro is the business!!!! Awesome game
So good. I played the hell out of the demo and immediately bought the game. I'm about 50 hours played.
How about Kaiju Monster Attack Cleanup Simulator? You have to clean up after Godzilla-clones destroy the city... again.
This is actually a legit good idea
i refuse to change
Me to my adult diaper:
so true
I agree with Lewis, I couldn’t finish red dead 2 because it was Horse Riding Simulator for 90% of its playtime
Yea I rather ride a guy then a horse
Cowboy game has horse riding??? Perish the thought!
@@markw1238 when most of my playtime is tapping A in cinematic cam, I’d rather just watch a movie
i know it’s a very unpopular opinion but i completely agree, i gave it a good go because i know how loved it is but i need some action in my games
It’s a good game but it does have a fairly tedious nature to it I don’t blame you for it not being your thing
Shelf stacking sim?
Heroscape was like lego warhammer, but fully lego would be better though extremely time consuming to build
woo
I see the point of Red Dead’s story was missed lol.

Didn't even know HD1 existed before 2 blew up.

Pyrion's take on recording people in public is a new level of stupidity even by the Eggmeister General's standards
what do you mean

New things, yeah... now how about episode 280 of my favourite garbage podcast ❤
I really don't think Baldur's Gate 3 is that much to write home about.
It's neither the best baldur's gate game nor the best larian game
the idea that chinese people are squeemish about food is ridiculous…

Shitty week all around
