Chaps - as a Brit that is 13+ years in to moving to Sweden from west of London, I can tell you that Swedes dont drink during the week as they have grown up with Lördag Gödis (Ler-dag Goo-dis: Saturday sweets). Kids here simply do not get sweets (or crisps, chocolate, cake, biscuits etc..) until Saturday. Monday to Friday - nothing. On friday. the family cuddles up to watch a film and eat as many crisps as they can buy, then on Saturday they go nuts, childrem have a weeks worth of sweets / chocolate in 1 day! This becomes the same attitude that a lot have to drinking alcohol. They dont realise it - but from a middle class British dad - it 100% is the reason! Southern swedes might be out every night at restaurants, but up in the middle and north - it is more common on Wednesday evenings (little Saturday) or Saturday itself. I think you said it was Wednesday - so you cought one of the 2 very busy evenings :-) Since alcohol is expensive, you will also notice that no one buys a round and no one wants you to buy a round - as they then feel that they have to reciprecate. All the best from Umeå Sweden - thanks for sticking with Triforce - it keeps me sane
once you have the pinched nerve you’re fucked, it will go away eventually but there’s nothing to do but try to relax and take painkillers. prevention is critical. stretch regularly. maintain good posture.
Lewis finishes a coherent sentence in one try challenge (impossible) Triforce is still the thing I look forward to most after all these years. Love it.
I really feel for ya sips! The exact same thing happened to me. I've been getting injections and doing PT for 6-7 months now. It really is insufferable. I should say I have had MRI and confirmed a c5-c6 disc protrusion that is pressing on the nerve that runs down your arm (my right one).
sips needs to get a chiropractor who deep tissue massage. I had that same issue once and yes the pinched nerve will make it hurt from toe to head and ironicly it could be a certain spot making your whole side ache. An OG punker in the 80s in the bay area of CA, Sips I don't know how you know my husband but yep. To a Tea you described him. He went to parties, and the bands were all up and new no one heard of them such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Metalica, yep he saw them at the college parties or hole in the wall places.
TIL Pyrion doesn't really know what a meme is. "Doctor, doctor" has never been a meme. It's a classic stand-up joke, typically told by kids, decades before the internet. Plus his example of modern memes "a dog nodding with text, and that's the meme" how is that any different to a picture of a cat with "Can I haz cheezburgur" from the 2000s?
He didn't say it was a meme. He said it was the pre-meme equivalent of one. Internet memes in a general modern sense are the evolution of this - short immediately recognisable zinger becomes short immediately recognisable, kinda funny picture, becomes short immediately recognisable kinda funny self referential commentary - that makes up alot of todays memes.
Flax crying about it being 0 degrees Celsius. "There's a little bit of snow lingering around" Jesus man what a baby. It's not like he's used to Saharan heat or something, he lives in fucking london
What's the point of the news segment when they recorded this episode in February and release the episode two weeks into March. All the news topics are nothing new at this point.
Veganism by definition is an abolitionist stance on animal rights, where the exploitation of animals isn't allowed. People follow it, myself included because of how incapable humans are of actually creating a good environment, not to mention the message it would send having consumed animal products (Which may as well just bring around industrialization 2.0 like they are in China with 20 story high pig farms). Plus animals can't necessarily consent or even tell us what's wrong, so there's a lot of risk involved in consuming ethically raised animal products too. To where most of us would rather see animals as equals rather than 'slaves'. There's also selective breeding which ties into what's wrong with ethically raised too. The smartest choice would be to give animal products to the public, at a cost or for free, so you could defund the horrible industries that put animals through hell. Hence why I won't eat eggs if I did have rescue chickens.
Im sorry guys but dota sucks because to learn it its so slow and the hook is done better in league and that game takes less time to learn. Dota will die in our life times lol wont but dota will die
Petition to rename this podcast to "Old People Chat"

Pyrions kid is truly going down the anime path by listening to Nightcore 😭😭
i suspected speedcore given he characterizes it as silly high bpm
@@captainbloodloss1 I vote for Frenchcore. Because i like Frenchcore.
I knew it was Nightcore as soon as he started describing it 😂. It's fine that she listens to it, its hilarious to hear Pyrion's reaction to it.
Might be breakcore
I hope it's the proper nightcore not just the original sped up
Listening to this to feel young
The vending machines were running facial recognition software, they didn't just have cameras in them.
I love Pyrion trying to describe nighcore xD and honestly nailing it
once you have the pinched nerve you’re fucked, it will go away eventually but there’s nothing to do but try to relax and take painkillers. prevention is critical. stretch regularly. maintain good posture.
'maintain good posture'...do you know who you're talking about? Lol
@Sips, you probably already heard this, but have you tried getting a new neck provider? Just trying to be helpful.
It's crazy to think that Pyrion's kids are so old now. Time really does fly.
Oh nooo! Pyrion's kid is going through their Nightcore phase!
Just seeing a really good guitarist live, close up, can be a religious experience.
Lewis finishes a coherent sentence in one try challenge (impossible)
Triforce is still the thing I look forward to most after all these years. Love it.
Can't tell if at 32:05 pyrion is referencing madcat or its just a coincidence
this is pyrions second time on the podcast where the nightcore genre truly throws him for a loop
13:43 possibly speedcore?
More restaurants aren't doing surge pricing because it would cause massive consumer backlash, which Wendy's quickly found out and reversed course.
Pyrion might be thinking of breakcore music, and I suspect the "noise" lewis hates in newer music is the hyperpop influence haha

pyrion shes listening to speedcore, and possibly is a furry. which is harmless but if she is make sure you know about her online friends more lol
halley labs music goes hard to be fair
terrifying
I know your pain Sips, I've had 3 discs removed because of nerve pain in my leg and arm.
What happens to your spine when those three discs are gone? 😳
@@henryjohnson-ville3834 They pack the space with bones people weren't using anymore and they eventually fuse together.
The title of this episode makes it seem like this is something new to this podcast 😭
REMEMBER ME
I will
I'll never forget you
YA DUN
It’s my 29th birthday today. I’ll count this as my present 😏
Happy birthday!!
FLAX'S KID LIKES NIGHTCORE AND V TUBERS AHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
She's still young but she better grow out of it. I see a late twenties/early thirties guy at the gym with an anime shirt. Kinda cringe. 😬
❤
"Old Men talk about Old Man things" Isn't that Triforce default podcast?
The neck pain is most likely from carrying around the baby
Sips kid defo likes marshmallow
After what happen to Technoblade with is arm I’m worried when anyone has a vague similarly pain.
Just a pinched nerve? I've been dealing with that AND sciatica since mid November... And lemme tell you about the traffic..

Any transmitted cultural concept is a meme. So yes, “doctor doctor” is a meme.
Your personal opinion on its notoriety doesn't stop it from being a meme.
He didn't say it was a meme. He said it was the pre-meme equivalent of one.

Pyrion is an absolutely insufferable boomer
Lewis trying to pronounce "wagwan" pains my soul
people saying wagwan at all hurts my soul….

sips dying of medical issues and doesn't seek professional help?
Typical NHS. "Need an appointment? You got one for in six weeks since every scumbag is covered while you get over-taxed." 😂
