  • OnSong works with a variety of wireless foot pedals including the updated version of the foot pedal that started it all, the AirTurn BT-105.
The AirTurn DUO features an updated BT-106 module which doubles as a detachable, six-button remote control. The assembly of the pedal has been improved all while maintaining the features that musicians love like a rechargeable battery with long life and flexible design that lets you use other pedals or triggering devices.
In this video tutorial, we cover the basic usage of the AirTurn DUO including how to pair it with your device and troubleshooting pairing issues. Most importantly, we show you how to configure OnSong to perform actions as well as set up a forward pedal trigger for performing more than one function with the scroll down pedal.

I bought this pedal to use with onsong after watching this video. You said it can be paired to any generation ipad. I have an ipad 2 but just tried to pair and couldnt. If you know how please let me know. All ive been reading now is the device must have bluetooth 4.0. Which is ipad 3 and higher. Mine has bluetooth 2.0 so doesnt appear compatible. I just either wasted money on this pedal..or have to buy a new ipad now.

AirTurn has recently updated their entire lineup to be based on the BT-200 module which is Bluetooth LE and requires an iPad 3 or higher. You likely purchased the DUO 200. The DUO in this video, which was released in early 2016, is compatible with all models of iPad but you would want to make sure to purchase the older BT-106 version to use with an iPad 2. You could return it and look into this model instead: www.airturn.com/products/b-stock-duo You can contact AirTurn at support@airturn.com as they have great customer service.
However... it is HIGHLY recommended that you purchase a new iPad at this point. The iPad 2, 3, and 4 are no longer supported by Apple and most apps and products cannot run on them. OnSong will no longer be releasing updates for older iOS versions and these products are locked to iOS 9 and iOS 10. New iPads cost around $300 USD and are more than 10 TIMES faster than an iPad 2 or 3.

I would recommend contacting support@onsongapp.com or support@airturn.com for assistance. You can also test to make sure that pedal is working by opening the Notes app on your device, placing the cursor in the middle of text and pressing the pedals. The cursor should move to the left and right. If not, you may want to reset the device and pair it again.

I want a simple pedal that will allow me to scroll down a page easily...I don't need a page turner.

@@onsongapp Hi how can I get my BT-200 to scroll and not turn pages? I can't seem to find the way

@@catsailor83 By default, AirTurn products should scroll up and down in the song and then between songs when you reach the top or bottom. However, you may have inadvertently changed the mode of your AirTurn pedal. For instance, some pedals can be changed from "up/down" arrow keys to "left/right" arrow keys. If that happens, you may be switching between songs only. So I would check the user manual and make sure you have the correct mode selected. You can also go into the foot pedal settings screen and press the physical pedal and sign whatever action you like in there. If you need more assistance, contact support@onsongapp.com
