Hey guys, this video is really taking off so I wanted to add one more pointer that helped me. 1. Re-evaluation - Fun fact, when I first got my Economics paper I got an 89. I was kinda unhappy with it, and I was told that when ISC re-evaluates your paper they only TOTAL it as opposed to checking it again. After speaking to my economics teacher I sent it back for evaluation and got it bumped up to 97. WHICH IS CRAZY HOW DO YOU MESS UP A TOTAL BY 8 WHOLE MARKS. So yeah, re-evaluate if you can :) Hope this helps!

Hey, I follow the Pomodoro method and its quite effective for me. you don't have to use the traditional 25-5 timer, people can follow longer timers like 50-10, 45-5, etc. The Pomodoro method also related to the curve of forgetting which I feel is really important, especially for students. Hope this was informative! :D
Next month date 5 is my grade 12 exam. And we're having pre board exam on 19th of this month and I'm stressing over it plus we haven't even covered our syllabus yet.
it depends on child too ,we all have different kinds of mind and we all learn differently ,teacher should keep that in mind and try to explain it more kindly and in more easy way at start since we might not know everything or not can as be intelligent than others , plus teachers these days only know how to abuse students and shout at them instead of explaining things nicely , they have to be nice to teenagers specially when most of us all r depressed or still finding themselves,so it'll be hard for us if they give so much pressure about our life and studies

It is possible in ISC , in my school too students who want to in foreign can opt for those kinds of subjects as well as those who don't require that particular subject For eg : For clinical psychology you only require bio, not phy chem so you can opt for your fav subjects and drop phy and chem
I got his subject combination, (CS instead of pyscho), and I'm CBSE! All subjects are electives actually (check CBSE's website), it's possible. Just talk to your school about it

First person i found who really exposed the reality of these useless pomodoro timers. Initial 10 minutes go in building up mood, and last 10 minutes go in the waiting of upcoming 5 minute break. So productive part is 5 minute only which may give output equal to 10 minute, but not sufficient considering the 30 minute input. One should at least try 1.5 hours in one go. And best is 3-3.5 hours, because in boards you cant afford 5 minute breaks.

Exactly,even if you don't have a long attention span I don't think you should take a 5 min break before studying for at least 45-60 min,rest you could stretch based on your personal sitting power depending on the subject

I don't have any special timing or peak period, in fact i was super surprised that it depends heavily on what i eat! on days i eat only green and take care of my diet with light workout, i can revise my whole quantum mechanics notes with extreme concentration in one frickin' day!! but just eating a simple burger and now i can't help feeling sleepy with concentration period of only about 40 minutes.. TL;DR = my diet directly influence my mental ability to study
In my opinion, best thing is to eat the frogs first, thats do the complex stuff first. But not all at once. Just to ensure the flow easy stuff should add in between.
