There's an old lingering perception from the 2000's that white meat is healthy and dark meat is bad for you. I won't complain though, it keeps thighs substantially cheaper.
Nice tip, Champ! I actually did this the first time I made chicken teriyaki and somehow I've forgotten. I have been wondering why lately my chicken thighs aren't crispy anymore. Turns out it is precisely these tips that I have been forgetting!
Hey champ, i tried your method tonight with 4 thigh in a pan. There were so much oil cumulated in the pan even after the second time cooking the skin, and the skin became soggy. What have i done wrong?
It might be a long shot, but I am gonna ask in here. I was pan frying a chicken thigh with skin on. So I fried the skin side first and got it crispy. however when I flip it and cook the other side, it got soggy like in 2 minutes or so. What did I do wrong ? 😅
I just made this tonight and it was great! I’ve made “Chicken Under a Brick” in a similar way but your video was easy to follow. I didn’t do it with the sauce, but will try that next time.
I just coat my chicken in starch to get it crispy every time x) But the dressing is a fine addition to my collection since I love to eat chicken for midnight snacks

I will never understand how Chicken Breast is more in demand in the US than Chicken Thigh.
Easier to eat? There are some countries where it's almost impossible to get chicken thigh.

@@zaychavitch5317 haha, same here.
Chicken thighs are the best
Most commonly is the perception that people think white meat is healthier than dark meat so people choose breast over thigh
For me thigh are better
Another excellent video Champ!!
Love you champ keep the great videos coming❤
Champ your energy is unmatched, I love your videos 💕 and we love to see the sponsorship! You deserve it :)
Champ, i really love your clips and your energy. If there‘s a chance, can you please cook unagidon sometime? Thank you
How about Nikuman for the next video champ? Steamed buns would be perfect for winter.

Nice tips, thank you for showing us.
Champ is the best. Btw.. You need a knife sponsor! I really want to get a few nice knives, but I know nothing about them.
A lot of sponsored knifes are scams. In he sense that they will use cheap knives, and market them as expensive ones.
@@FapToMySkill Kamikoto is a scam
check out burrfection's channel , i learned how to sharpen knives with his videos and even purchased a few knives per his recommendation :)
Hey Champ! Chicken thigh is one of my favorite meals. This was so good to watch. Great video!

Over crowded pan. Reduce the number of pieces

Doubt anyone cooks chicken thigh like he did in the "wrong" example. I get its exaggerated to make a point but still.. 😅
just dust the skin side with cornstarch, crispy everytime
