St Pauls College's full performance on the Samoan Stage.
They placed 1st in Sasa, Fa'ataupati, Manaia, Taualuga & Uniform categories. St Pauls College placed 2nd overall in the Boys Only Schools section.

Never been to Samoa but they came here (San Francisco) often. I remember they came down foe this and stayed at the church hall. They would sing ALL night and us kids would be running around playing. Also use to see this at Flag Day every year. I'm very grateful I was exposed to my culture. You don't see this type of things in the City anymore. My kids know how to dance but they don't know this important part of our culture😢

Good rivalry between St. Paul's and Kelston. I'm not Samoan; I'm just a keen observer of Samoan culture and dance. With regard to the tuiga, I find that the modern-style tuiga to be rather garish (over-decorated) and - I'm going to stick my neck out here - tends to diminish the noble standing of the manaia and taupou, to being a cause for derisory comments; compared to the traditional tuiga which is more stylish, noble and elegant befitting this office, as seen above in this video. As fashion trends go, hopefully, this will not last and that the designers of these ''creations'' will come to their senses and curtail their exuberance, all in the name of Art.
