Alright people.....2 hours into the video and it's a close race between tanks #1 and #3. I'm torn at this point. A great comment below is that tank #3 would be a great option for a cafe bike build. Which might very well be my next build. But that's a whole other POLL. Thanks for watching and if want a chance to take this bike home simply click here: bit.ly/cb650bobber
I am stuck between tank #1 and tank #3 maybe after the bike is a bit more put together everyone will make up there mind better, that way we get a better idea of what it will look like
Gas tank #1, fits the bike the best. It's lines flow the best. Tank #2 would fit much better on a slammed bobber with more rake. I had a similar tank on my 88 sporty, which is on a 35° raked Paucho rigid. With the short factory front end, either the first or third tank will be more ideal. In my opinion the third tank would be a better fit on cafe styles bike, or a combination cafe/bobber style build that can be seen in a lot of triumph style bobbers. So in general for me tank #1 has the best lines for what you're building.
looking pretty good, i vote for tank #3, you really deserve way more views on your videos, awesome builder, again me and my wife enjoy of this project too.
Use either 1 or 3. I didnt like 3 at first but with the inserts that kinda makes it pop some however you can probably accomplish the same effect with paint also and #1 with the texture would make that harder to accomplish I imagine. Great fab work though.
really like 1 better than the other two. glad you did the right thing with the chain and wheel spacers you are on the right track it will look kick ass when its done. just hint really think if things before welding or just tack them tell you know everything will work.
I think that tank number 1 is the best for this build. Number 3 is a cool tank but the indents in the rear don't line up with the lines of the motor and throws it all off. If you stand back with #3 tank on, you can see the back line of the cylinders are in the middle of the indented part of the tank which throws the lines of the bike off imo. It's looking good so far, keep them coming. Later
I totally agree with the embossed tank on this bike. Or the third option. The smaller tank makes it look like a mini chopper, but the rake isn’t long enough to pull off the lil tank look. It has a longer rear end now, so I’d make the mid section meaty.
Tank #3 would be my choice. However, it does limit the colour scheme of the bike you could use it with, unless you can buy those rubber pads in different colours. If not then I would go with the first tank.
3 is dope to me. 1 looks good too. i do not like 2 at all doesnt look good to me personally. If you did 3 with the tank grips it would be the best decision imho.
My personal choice would be tank 3. Tank 1 is awesome for it also....but the higher capacity is VERY useful sooooooo yeah... Tank 3. Save that second tank for a Scrambler Rebuild! ;)
I reckon tank three would be better on a cafe racer but I like the mix up of cafe style bobber look. Tank three for me then tank 1 purely for the style.
Question about your Aprilia, have you ever experienced lean out with your exhausts? Or did you get an ecu? I’m looking at an RSV4. Thanks man! Enjoy your channel!

I'm thinking the #3 because it has bigger fuel capacity and looks slightly meaner. This is mostly subjective though. Cool video!
I like #3

Man I was bummed I lost internet and wasn’t able to put my vote in on Patreon.
Definitely tank #1. It fits the style the best and the pattern on the sides and top could look really cool painted in an accent color.
Tank #1 for sure!

#1, 21/2 gallons is sufficient for a bar hopper. #3 is cool but a little to big.
Your craftsmanship is mind blowing
Tank 1
Tank #1
Tank one
Getting there now. Keep up the good work 😎
Roundy tank = No bueno... The quilted peanut all the way!
Tank #1 for me. The second is too small and the third is too big.

Gas tank #3 and instead of putting on that rubber pad you should put your personal logo there👍😎
It's a battle between 1 and 3 for me
Number 1 gas tank looks a lot cleaner and matches the rest of the bike
1st tank looks the best!!!
really like 1 better than the other two. glad you did the right thing with the chain and wheel spacers you are on the right track it will look kick ass when its done. just hint really think if things before welding or just tack them tell you know everything will work.
Tank 1, keep tank 3 for your next build .... the Cafe racer 😎

Tank No. 2 looks the best in my opinion, the other ones are just too big. That teardrop shape fits the frame perfectly.
for me the third gas tank with a fat tire(not to big just a little bigger than you have now) in the front would go perfect with the whole build ...
Tank 1 then tank 3
Tank #1 because it matches your original concept
I like number 3 with the rubber pads. It adds to the bike, gives it a cool look.
#3 definitely

Definitely tank #1 with the diamond design.
My vote is tank #1. #2 doesn't fit the lines of the bike. #3 is just too big. Looks like you fit a bike under a tank.
I’m really enjoying the build I like the last gas tank that Would look cool
Hi , Tank#1 , best design , best form !
#3 for me.
Tank #3 would be my choice. However, it does limit the colour scheme of the bike you could use it with, unless you can buy those rubber pads in different colours. If not then I would go with the first tank.

I like gas tank #3
Love the tank Number 3 😎🤙🏼
Does anyone know the manufacturer or name of “gas tank #1” ? I love the way it looks and would love to put it on my next build.
A normal person would have put a jack between the hard tail and spread it to the 10 1/8 needed and then welded in the new cross bar to hold it!
1 and 3,but seeing the rubber tank grip...ill say gas tank no.3
Tank 3 for me
My personal choice would be tank 3. Tank 1 is awesome for it also....but the higher capacity is VERY useful sooooooo yeah... Tank 3.
Save that second tank for a Scrambler Rebuild! ;)

Really like the third tank but need to lift the front of the tank 2 inches and put a sight tube on it
Number 1 tank!
Number 2 tank for me
Tank 1 or 3 look really good
Definitely number 3!!!!!!!!
Stretch #2 tank
Edit: #3 looks good too
Toss up between 1 and 3 for me .
#3 first choice, #1 second choice
Gas tank #1
Congrats on the views!!!
gas tank one looks on point
Hey boss, curious as to what tank #1 is? I want to swap out my softail tank and I think that is spot on for what I'm looking for.
"it's like 6 o'clock at night...." Pans camera and the sun is at high noon 😂😂😂😂😂
Definitely tank #1
3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dig #3
I like tank 3
I liked #3 the best.
Gas tank number 2
Gas tank #2 looks better to me , the others look to much like your first build. ✌🏻
Gas tank #3 all the way!
I’m in love with #1
Tank #1 and no fender struts
Tank 1 get my vote👍
I like the 2nd tank, the small round one. The others are tooooo bulky....braaap!
tank fuckin 1 ...great video series moto pilot
Go with number one or number three and cut the tunnel out and lower the tank over the motor.
Tank 3 for friction pads and size.
#3 or #1 gas tank
#1 is really cool but #3 would be ideal for and 80;s Honda
Bobbers rock!
Tank #3 👍🏼🇵🇷
#3 for sure!
Question about your Aprilia, have you ever experienced lean out with your exhausts? Or did you get an ecu? I’m looking at an RSV4. Thanks man! Enjoy your channel!
I ran exhaust without ecu for a few months. Seemed fine. Never checked the plugs. Now i have race ecu
3 without rubbers.
I don’t think you need a chain tensioner with a hard tail. Right?
Like tank #3
Gas tank #3
Def #3
Tank #3 looks best.
1 but I’m bias because I have that tank on my bike
