Awesome info. I just bought a 2900tk. I just received it and it has this same leak. Thanks so much. Great advice!! God Bless you as well!! Absolutely helped my mind. I haven’t even gone to my first stump yet 🤦🏼♂️.
Good luck!

Thanks for the video! Do you know if this would be similar process to repairing one of the back side drive motors?
Not sure
Man you rock! Thank you for taking time to post this video. Very helpful.
I am happy it helped you ...grind on LOL
What's size of the seals on the hydraulic motor? Thank you.
metric I will try to look it up this weekend
do you have a seal shop near you?
@@mustangrebuilder there's couple good bearing/ hydraulic seal shops locally available. As well as online. I figure I'd order parts on not in stock before I disassemble machine. Thanks for videos!
Did you by any chance have time to find out seal sizes. Thank you.
Nice video, how about some videos of stump grinding techniques/advise?
I’m doing it on a hydraulic pump now. When I put the final piece in the groove for the circlip is too far in I can’t make the thing go in far enough to expose the groove. Any ideas?
It hard to tell since Im not there sorry
I have a barreto 30sg, and whenever I push the button to engage the cutting wheel it won’t spin, could it be the hydraulic motor connected to the disc?
Sorry my friend I have never worked on a Barreto
Thanks for all your videos, you’ve been a great help to me opening my own stump grinder business. Been at it over 2 years now here in Virginia, just bought a 2019 Bandit 2550 with the 50Hp Kohler Diesel, I just mangled it pretty bad with a bunch of metal or something out in the country pockets sheared off, cracked teeth, but worst of all now the grinder wheel is wobbling real bad and making a terrible noise. Any idea what it could be? Thanks
Go through the process of pulling the wheel like in the video it could be like what happened to my brothers is it just moved off the shaft holding collar just a bit.
I'm having a hell of a time removing the cutting wheel hub from the shaft. Any insight on removing it? The book says use 4 bolts @15 foot lbs in a cross pattern. I can't get it to budge.
Ok so you got all the bolts off the cutter wheel right and then the star looking bolts on the cutter wheel right ?

WD40 and cross hatch pattern on bolts and slit tapping on it or light heat ( light ) the collar has some rust on it
First of all thank you again for making this video. Question? When should I consider tackling this job. Right now my 2650 has a small seep at this seal location. It's very slow.
this winter when you are slowest because it will just get worst and you dont want to be down
Whats the name of thoses seals for when I call bandit?
Cutter wheel hydraulic motor seals call Eliot at Bandit Factory parts
I have a 2011 2250 grinder, we've found it's underpowered recently. We had to replace the clutch cable and seems to still underpowered. I did notice the hydro tank discoulerd, heats up pretty good, have you seen any issues similar to ours. Wondering if there's a leak or glossed filter somewhere. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Has to be a hydraulic filter and need to be changed ... look in owners manual in the exploded parts pictures ... change fluid AW46 ..there should be a cooler for the hydraulics and make sure fan runs . I used to have that machine as just a back up and it just didn't have any balls and I think it got discontinued and they went to the SG40 .... my advice fix it and sell and get the sg40
