Triple Rectifier Playthrough + Ibanez Ts9 on/off
Signal Chain is: Dean Cadikill with Seymour Duncun SH13, Sommer Cable, Ibanez TS9, On/Off, as seen in the Vid, Triple Rectifier, Vovox Speaker Cable, Marshall MF280B with Celestion Vintage 30MF, Shure SM57, No Post Production, EQ is flat.

Mesa Recto owner here and this has gotta be one of the best tones I've on here in a good while. I have a very similar tone as well with my rectos. \m/
It's a limited edition. Very rare. And i don't know if it was on the Dean page ever, except for the artist page with Barret. It's my main guitar at the moment - i love it!
it was never on the Dean Site except the one Rob was holding on his page... they are rare from what I've found so far only 50 were made ...most with the Red Logo and a few with the White. The white logo's we're made in error and later changed to match the theme of the guitar.

You will need a boost if you take the recto. Best thing, to find out, is to play the amps . I prefer the Mesa.

What do you mean by "send-level"? The effects-loop was off, iirc.
Do you think the tone is better with the FX loop off and not use the Solo - Output?

I have the loop running on the reborn model. With the "old" ones i think it's better sounding with the loop off.

I have an old Ampeg SS70 combo with a celestion that has killer gain, but sometimes i feel like it needs some sort of boost. Do you think it would be fine to boos a solid state Ampeg with a tube screamer or a Maxon Overdrive pedal?

I have the old 3 channel head and was wondering if you were using the Master or solo - output as the volume control. But if the FX loop was off than you were using the Master! Thanks

ThyFinalPain Thanks! I just got a new Triple Rectifier myself and I play with the gain set quite high and am not using any overdrive pedals. At the moment I find it gives me enough gain, although the manual strongly recommends not turning the gain all the way up to avoid microphonic squealing developing in the tubes. I might back down the gain and use an overdrive pedal like you then!

If it works for you, the way you set it, there's no need for a boost, imo.Though It can't hurt to have a boost, for some versatilty.

junior Yeah, man. No.:14 is about the Band S.O.D. and i really liked them a lot and still do :) But for a second i wasn't sure what you meant. lol
why everybody play so low tune... this is guitar not base... play at some normal tune so i can hear guitar frequencies... not base............
Low tuning is amazing. Most metal guitar players love bass anyways. Even Metallica with their e standard guitars has lots of bass and chug. I guess you don’t like metal.

Just try some kind of "standard setting" TS9: Gain zero-9 o'clock, tone 12 o clock, volume full. Use the third channel in modern, gain on 2 or three o.clock.
and try presence , bass, treble on 1 o clock and scoop the mids a little.

+Steve Ristich Lows cranked up on the amp, sounds good in the room but in mixes it doesn't allow anything else to come through. Really nice playing once you get past the muddy tone :)
