I keep a pipe cleaner with each of my canners. I run it thru the vent each time before starting to can.
That's awesome do you have a picture so others, can also look into getting this for their canners. That is a great idea :)
I just use a pipe cleaner like you get at the craft stores. The little wire with the fuzzy stuff on it.
