No recruiter including the one in this video will ever say they are biased or incompetent. There is a strong racial undertone to the hiring culture in Arab countries. It's already decided who will be paid what, based on their passport and skin colour. I mean you'll often find organisations openly say they want an European or western national preference in their "job requirements". And this being discriminatory goes unnoticed. In America they would be sued for this. But in Dubai, it's fine as long as money is being made. I came across a white female who became a recruiter after working as an air hostess for Emirates. Like how the f*Ck does that qualify you to discern hiring for roles in operations or finance beats me. So the quality of recruiters in uae whether white or Indian is garbage because they are neither really qualified nor trained to not bring their prejudice towards certain nationalities to work. Just like recruiters, ppl trying to find jobs don't have time to suck up to you so you can do your job. "Build rapport, find by referral...." If that's all y'all do then wth are YOU doing. The candidate needs to do everything including your job, then what good are you. All she is saying is waste your money and time to find a job. Your skills and education doesn't matter as much, it's just a formality to look good for compliance. Talented recruiters are few and far between.
I have done many interviews in dubsi and they all just ghosted me I feel like shit All the money I have spent coming from far city and all the hope I had I gave up for a while a long period but now im coming strong but in my city
