Loved the video as usual. Just a quick q, you mentioned that you didn’t have accommodation provided by the school when you first moved to Dubai. Was just wondering why this was bc i thought all schools in the UAE provided this
Personally had accommodation allowance. I hadn't done all the full research on getting my own place and found the process difficult personally; however, most get given accommodation initially. I would have told myself to get a monthly rental initially before getting an annual rental.

Are they hiring Drama Teachers in primary ed in UAE? Do you know what a school expects from them? (e.g are they required to present big-scale performances like musicals, etc?) or just teach theatre, improv, games, etc?)
This completely depends on the school. Thinking of ours, yes they do a bit of both.

How do you feel teaching in a county where homosexuality is against the law? I know this doesn’t affect you but as a gay man, I wouldn’t be permitted to teach in Dubai and truly be myself 🥴
Hey ! I am a Emirati and I wanted to answer you’re question..I and many people here wouldn’t care if you are homosexual..(You will most likely get stares in public as homosexuality is considered as taboo) but if you don’t do anything in public (Kissing or anything along those lines) you would be fine I believe..I have seen gay and lesbian people here..Surprisingly even lesbian Emiratis.
ツRoyalPillows in Islam homosexuality is FORBIDDEN so it is EXTREMELY Disrespectful to do any thing of that nature in The uae and Dubai and for matter of fact ANY Muslim country
