Magic Acrygel Marble Technique

- Hiya duck in today's video we are going to be doing an acrygel set with a Gel Polish twist.
I'll apply forms to the nails then ill give a thin layer of base gel cure that and apply a small bead of clear as day to the nails and form that contact area then ill use the Mr buttons brush to drag that product down and then ill cure that.
Now ill take some Pink Glimmer and create a smile line on the middle and ring finger and then il cure those, then I can take White Marsh Mallow and pop some of that onto my pallet ill make 3 separate dollops of that cause I'm going to be mixing in some gel polish
I'll take MRGN, Griff, and Issac and ill mix a little bit of each of those with my 3 dollops of white acrygel then ill set those aside while I complete the next step
Now im going to clean over and file in my smile lines and clean over again to remove any dust then I can take white out and paint along the brick wall of those smile lines and cure that
Now going back to my magic mix ill place some blobs of the different colors place those randomly around the nail along with some white marsh mallow Then using my Mr buttons brush ill start to form the shape allowing the nails to marble
Now ill repeat this process over the other nails then ill cap all of the nails in clear as day then I can file these into shape apply some bling and then give these a top coat ill finish off with a splash of cuticle oil and that’s it!

btw isopropyl alcohol is the same thing as slip solution! it’s much cheaper and it works exactly the same, for anyone who’s worried about buying clean up/slip solution. no need to spend extra money when it does the exact same thing!

I love them! They are screaming spring and they were really not that difficult I would say more time consuming than anything. Your marbling, I have never seen anyone marble that way with acrygel/polygel and I watch a couple ladies that do nothing but work with polygel and they are stirring and I’m yelling noooo! Don’t stir! Lol like I have a better way. I’m thinking that I will try this with the polygel brand I use most often and see how it turns out.

When you first put the colors you're going to marble, once you start flattening it out to create the shape as well as design. It looks like a duck bill. But very colorful. 😊

I think there is a limit to how much you should add so be careful. Kirsty knows her products so that’s the difference.

I would be interested to see what the pinching technique is like when using acrygel vs acrylic- I use acrygel due to the smell and I live pinching but never quite know the proper technique for that product vs acrylic with timing and such.
I wonder how long the nail was in the lamp before you could pinch it? 10 to 30 seconds?

What is a comparable product I can use instead? Would 90% alcohol work?

Hi I’ve put together a big basket of goodies so that I can try your new Acrygel (I’m treating myself to a couple of brushes and a few other “essentials” ahem 🙈whilst I’m at it!) but I can’t find the cleanup solution anywhere on your website. Is this because it’s out of stock? If that is the case how do I add it to my wish list so that I’m informed when it’s back in stock?
In the interim is there anything else I can use instead of the cleanup solution so that I can have a go with the Acrygel? I don’t want to spend a small fortune on Acrygel & brushes etc and then not be able to physically try them out, if the cleaning solution is the only thing that works there’s no point in me placing my order for everything else only to have to sit and look at it until the cleanup solution comes back in stock 😊
I hope you’re feeling better, take your time and don’t rush things , it’ll only catch up with you further down the road when you when you least expect it and you’ll end up in a worse place than when you initially started! Your health is VERY precious, don’t let anyone EVER persuade you to put your physical or mental health on the back burner so that you’ll be ok to do whatever THEY wanted! Xxx
How did you clean up the smile line on the 2 nails without filing off all of the clear? I guess my real question is what was the point of the clear when it’s being filed off?
As an almost qualified tech would you say I’d need further training in acrygel or just play about till I pick it up enough to add it to my list?
So, are you saying that the base coat replaces the dehydrator and primer? :)

We’ve been having very similar weather here in the Pacific NW, US. We’re on a similar latitude to you. Beautiful days, and nights, as my mom would say, “Colder’n a witch’s titty!”

ya know when i get my nails done, I don't even see employees who know how to do half the thing you can do. They always need a " referrance" and then for me I'm suppossed to , " trust the process".. I really see why people now want to buy and learn from a true pro and get to doing their nails themselves, or only want you..because maybe it's me, but I feel like " nail pros" are becoming scarce..
