- Watching Stevie Ray Vaughan perform, it was obvious he was destined to become one of the greatest talents ever to emerge from the Texas music scene. He was taking off in a big way at this point in his career. After the interview, I drove him to sound check at Sam Houston Coliseum in the HVUSA van which, only had two seats. His PR man, Charles Comer, sat in the passenger seat and Stevie sat on the floor between us. He was serene, totally in the moment, calmly discussing what needed to be done before the show. And what a show it was. Three years later he was was gone, taken away much to soon. This segment aired on Hit Video USA January 18, 1987.

This interview was on one of my son's birthday..Stevie Ray Vaughan is sensational and that guitar is his baby..Stevie is masculine in his guitar playing and singing the Blue's or Rock n Roll..His performance is like nobody else but Stevie can do..your being missed Stevie Ray Vaughan and your name and profession is still out and about..Amasing talent

I gave him aa book said you in cult. I gave him the book . Blue book in Sunderland Rusty nail days I guess he might of read some stared at me second night and smiled .I did a . Amehest aa meeting that day put book in backpack. Young girl bar girl helping at nail to make extra money. Got me to meet music people Stevie was shy . And he seen me reading we talked and I gave it to him . Met Jimmy thought the years . And told him It's hard losing our brothers good men. Jim and I pray for them and you all today extra . Glad Janna got to find love again . I new Stevie way before I know she must need extra prays too today . Some men touch a heart you can't for get. Guys need them too .Hard day like yesterday . I got married years on the date was set hurcaine hit when wedding was over today my hunny gone but today is our anniversary. Miss them all rock the heavens guys . Did not get married till years after Stevies passing. Rip in peace guys.
