Fascinating. Yeah, I wondered about the structure until I got to the later part of the video. It's hard to know for sure what the original might've been like. It was probably either really basic, like a big plain box with all the actors laid out, or else it maybe had a bunch of custom terrain and structure to debug the game engine physics and interactions as well. Who knows! Cool that you could at least glean the actor list from the game files.
I agree. Maybe the Mario Club leaks some footage one day, who knows. ^^

I was hoping this was going to be cooler. I kind of hate that we got a billion bite sized puzzles in botw rather than a selection of unique dungeons. Really hope botw2 will have both. Don't mind the trial things if we got cool looking dungeons back.

Not gonna lie, I like the golden hue all around this shrine place, and the larger sized fauna... I would seriously like if both of these 2 things appeared in botw2.

Hey Christopher, later in the video I explain that the layout we can just guess today, but the used items we can tell pretty sure. So I personally took the dlc battle shrine, yes.

How long did it take you to make all this?
This specific MarioClubTestDungeon level + all the information and resources took me several days per day over a week.
We have to go back and get it and then I’ll have it for the day

I don’t think you could, outside of asking the video creator for his files. This is a recreation of what this room may have looked like in development, but in any normal copy of the game it’s long gone. This was the product of placing each identified object in manually.

How on earth is the frame rate so high? It looks much better than I remember it looking when I beat it a couple years back. It's incredible what a smooth frame rate can do for a game's looks.
That footage was run on an emulator. I even had to turn the FPS down to 60 for a better video for UA-cam. You can even play with 144FPS.

Actually it's not in the overworld. It's an own world you could say, the original.
