I really love what they did to Zora's Domain with Mipha's statue and Polymus Mountain
It does look good. I initially panicked when I saw Mipha's statue was missing.
💯
@@ThatSlowTypingGuysame
In Gerudo canyon, there is now a river when there wasn't one in BOTW
They made the same world feel new and refreshing
The additions of Caves and Wells with hidden rewards and stuff saved hyrule from being “the same”.
Not really
@@courtesycall7746 explain
@@RetroLiminal99444 I was just saying that it’s still the same surface map. Shrines and towers in different places plus some caves doesn’t really change that
@@courtesycall7746 I think you are forgetting that I didn’t specifically say that the additions added to the map make the map very different.
In the ruins that is dark with a shrine quest it is now bright and no darkness. A tower is also there
@@OhmDoesArts_ps THATS THE NAME!!!!
@@PurplIsAFluffyBoiAndPlaysBFNThyphlo Ruins you mean to call that area near the Korok Forest?
@@splatfan Ya, somebody said Thyphlo Ruins before you. That is why I said that’s the name. But it seems their comment has been deleted…
6:20 it would’ve been really relevant to show how the zonai map is different from our map, like how hyrule field is flooded and the twin peaks haven’t been divided yet
i wanna see someone do the thing where they can move the camera around in cutscenes to show where exactly the cutscenes take place.
@@tuseroni6085sadly most of them are just mp4 files so its impossible to move the camera
One of my favorite changes was to Dragon’s Exile in southwest Gerudo Desert
The sky mazes' music is so surreal. Adding up the low gravity physics and the lack of major amount of ground where you'd be stepping in the main maze, and it blew my mind when I did my first sky maze
Yeah, locations look totally different now even though it’s the same world! Especially Death Mountain!
THIS is the kind of content I was looking forward to coming out after TotK was released!
It felt weird to not be instantly threatened to be obliterated by Guardians in the Forgotten Temple in ToTK
There’s still a guardian on top of the Hateno Tech lab and that appears to be the only one in the whole game.
The made the whole world feel like I was playing it for the first time. Truly an amazing feat.
Do i have to unlock all shrines and towers of botw all over again in totk
@@AshTheDuke no. They are all different.
ok ty @@ThereIsNoSpoon678
@@AshTheDukeJust that in the sky, there are 32 additional shrines that make the count go up from 120 to 152.
Tip: Surface = s; Depths = d
S: forest; d: Grove
S: village: d: abandoned mine
S: high terrain (eg mountains); d: low terrain (eg canyons)
S: named mountain/peak; d: canyon w/ mine
S: water; d: wall
S: large goddess statue (eg, forgotten temple goddess statue)/spring (eg, spring of courage); d: wellspring (eg, wellspring of courage)/bargainer status
That is Robbie’s wife, and in Totk she is sweeping in lookout landing and breaks open the hole to the horned statue
theres a Guardians in the top of the Hateno Ancient Lab, and you check read Purah diary to discover, she perfected her anti-age rune and reversed to a 20 years old lady
Hey I have a difference, now granted I didn't find it myself as I don't own tears of the kingdom but I noticed it when I was watching someone play the game and even though they didn't acknowledge it, I did still notice it, now if anyone remembers in breath of the wild there was a huge ancient tree stump with some enemy's on it and around it, but in tears of the kingdom there is a hole in it so you can now go inside it and go down to a cave like area and see all it's roots and personally I think that's really cool😁
It's the ancient tree stump on mount Daphnes. It has a piece of the Fierce Deity armor!
Thats not Robbie's student, its his wife 😂
I dunno if you're much of a glitch user but I'd love a yter to get footage from really high in BotW and TotK looking over the rest of the continent outside the playable map. People don't believe me when I say there's no way they're wasting all the dev work put into that area but if they really saw it they might change their minds. It's crazy outside the borders, mountains far bigger than anything in Hyrule and it's not some kind of skybox, it's all modelled, a continent that BotW's map takes up 1/4 of.
That was a fun watch. Thank you
11:38 Right, gloom hands. I couldn't remember why I hadn't done that Labyrinth yet.
Please make some more videos of crazy Zonai contraptions! I have to see as many of these from your channel as possible! :-) Thank you! :-)
I'm glad that the map is even slightly different in the areas shared between games just so that it isn't a straight port
You should look at the great plateau
There’s actually a broken down guardian on top of the hateno tech lab. Great video btw
8:54 Now in Tears , "Hold on just got to take care of ,, _Gahhhhh!!_ , they're *Hands* now????
4:23 is not Robbie student, that Jerin, his wife
You should make a video talking about your personal favorite 2d and 3d games from each Nintendo franchise (Or at least main Nintendo franchise.)
i remember leaving the sky island and i had to play for a whole day until i found a place that was kinda recognizable which was hateno village. i really like how different the game is from the last time i was at those locations
The music from if you defeat any one of the regional phenomenon the same music plays form age of calamity if you finished a level 😎
I just wish they add more villages. Town quests are always my favorites!
Same! I was the most sad that there weren’t any new settlements and that the only town that sort of expanded was Tarrey Town.
I noticed that at the hateno ancient tech lab there are some guardians and even guardian scouts
Hey, uh, what's the music that plays around the 2-minute mark? I like it a lot, and maybe want to try and find a mp3 of it.
New statue of link and Sidon in zora’s domain
4:20 (haha funny) pretty sure that student is Robbie’s wife...
The one at the Flight Range was a bonus DLC shrine that was part of the Champions' Ballad. From a certain point of view it's not there to begin with.
I like how most Sheikah Shrines = Chasms now
10:50 the whole places is a bit deeper than in breath of the wild, it basicly sunk a bit, that´s also the reason why there is water all over the place
Have there been any changes to Malon’s Farm Ruins?
What about tarrey town
Not sure if it's been mentioned but, the shrine of awakening in breath has totally been gutted in tears
The ruins at the top of Akkala citadel are different, right? I'm not imagining it? 😅
What is the background music? Its way too hard
7:25 - what's this music? it's great, but i can't recognise it from the game
It's from hyrule warriors age of calamity, daruk's theme
9:58 the shrine was dlc only! and not there from the beginning from botw
I must have never looked up, because this is my first time seeing those goron statues even in botw. I have over 200 hours in both games...
i dont just want the subtle map differences going forward, i want the entire timeline to consist of this. this means we need to go back and patch up the sudden, jarring changes to the aesthetic of hyrule from twilight princess to whatever came afterward with transitory records of what it looked like.
Whats the songs?
There is a way to make it stand upright again not blocking the room, but still upright
Get this man 1,000,000
There is still guardian remains at the lab in hateno
Oh yes... wait student? Jerrin is Robbie's wife haha
Im pissed theres no boulder golf anymore
Maybe I'm wrong but isn't that woman living with Robbie his wife, not his student?
….but the Great Plateau? 🥺
explore castle town
In the Zorros domain, the statute of Mipha was changed to link and Sidon
You forgot Shrine of Resurrection
I just wish they add more villages. Town quests are always my favorites!
