- This is my 2013 Chest Caprice PPV. It is a LS powered sedan and an absolute blast of a car. These ae former cop cars here in America. In other countries, they are more readily available and heavily sought after. Hope you enjoy this beast as much as I do!

Mate we also have a range of cars called HSV THERE called CLUBSPORT ,CLUBSPORT R8 ,GTS ,GTS R GTS R W1 the gts r w1 model is the most expensive car in hsv models …if u have a VF MODEL GTS R W1 MODEL BUILT IN 2017 and say it’s only got around 200/300 KLMs on the speedo and you want to buy that 2017 model car be propaired to pay at least $400,000 to at least $550,000 - $600,000 k
A blue one with 119k just popped up near me for 9k and I had no idea they exist. Plan on buying it this weekend haha. What a crazy deal these things still are.

@@Nexus_gt35 yes I got an alto grey 2011 9c3!! Love it!!!! Have done headers and taken the motor down to the pistons. Cam coming soon just wanna drive it a bit while I save.
@@Nexus_gt35 a LOT can happen in a year. I literally spoke it into existence. Got it for a good deal down in Orlando(5500 needed a fender and bumper which I replaced, title still clean!! Lol) and have enjoyed it ever since. Have had it about 8 months.

I own a WM 6L caprice here in New Zealand. Here they are based off the commodore but are a longer wheel base. They're a luxury car designed with the rear passenger in mind with a larger rear door for ease of access, rear controls for climate and entertainment etc. They were mostly government cars and corporate taxis. The PPV is a low grade version produced for US police orders.
Hence the name police patrol vehicle....
The ppv used here in the states has enough rear leg room for the tallest and most robust human. Might as well get a real luxury vehicle instead of a ppv caprice.
No the Caprice is basd on Holden statesman not Commodore, Commodore is lumina, In middle east it's so pupplar, we have it as Chevrolet Caprice, LS, LT, LTZ, SS, royal all are the same engines and HP 360 V8 6.0, but different futures it was their from 2000-2016, Also there was a car named Chevrolet lumina it based on Holden Commodore 2000-2013
And it's more good looking, more sporty looking then Caprice
I like the Chevrolet logo more than Holden logo on the car even pontiac G8 logo is better than Holden logo

1:35 I knew soon as I seen the pipes… I’m looking at the front & idk how I missed this but I do remember seeing a ( concept? ) SS Impala same front but wide n mean… (thinner headlights) back end was a bit different as well

We got 5 holdens in the states which is nice, 14+ Chevy SS,08-09 Pontiac G8 GT & GXP, & 04-06 Pontiac GTO & last but not least the Chevy Caprice 6.0L
Is this basically the same body/car as the g8 gt?
Reason I’m asking is because I can’t find any window moldings for my 07g8.

That Chevy is still made, it's called the CTS6 V from Cadillac.
Actually it’s not. This car is an Australian import and the closest thing to it is the Chevy SS…another Holden import.

I just found out the Chevy made a caprice between 2011 to 2017 a few months ago… before then I never knew it existed

It’s actually a Holden imported from Australia.
And below the Holden carprice it’s really a Holden Statesman as the Statesman model is a model below the Carprice

I agree!! Closest we can get to that would like a G8 or SS each in top trim.
@@redlinedyl SS only has 3 options. Sunroof, manual, and spare wheel. Most come with sunroof and wheel.

I like chevy's but they dont push their cars to thw potential they should be. This could of been a hellcat killer or the impala but they always dumbing down the horsepower. Say like the zl1 had the same horsepower for 7 years. All my cars are chevy's but they don't know how to market and give the buyers what they want.

Absolutely I embraced DOD and Hp tuned it till 100mph. When you start wanting more power you take away the essence of its dynamics.
360 Hp. Not. Maybe 340. Great car. Handling is tight too. And you will never get 25 MPG even with deactivation of cylinders. Never! Had a 2011 brand new- sold with 85k miles. No issues. Go Australia! Holden. Like a G8.
