Welcome to the wonderful world of Glyos man! I've been collecting since 2007 and these are easily the most fun toys I own today. They also allowed me to express myself creatively and I have been sculpting Glyos compatible figures since 2009. I work with Super Sculpey all the time and you can bake Glyos pegs in a toaster oven, so long as it's only in there for 10-15 minutes at 275°. Plus if you sculpt over a part with a socket on it you can always plug a little Switch Pin in to make it fit after the fact.

Craftsman is the hero we need and want !! I absolutely positively 100% love what you're doing! This video and everything about it is amazing, thank you Craftsman for all your *cough playtime cough* work !!!
By far my favourite glyos-related experience has been picking up a load of just loose/extra parts from another collector who's big into customs, cleaning them all up and just... seeing what I could build/paint up. Might post a video at some point on a few of the better results. Still, if you see just like a general glyos parts lot on ebay for a decent price? well worth picking it up.
Yes! I *_love_* Glyos figures! The color fades and especially glow in the dark stuff are so awesome. Keep flexin those child-brain muscles! Go out into the woods and have fun :D
Oh man, Dan... LOL! Hope you have success! I was telling someone else that my eBay scout hunts down LOTS, and one lot of a bunch wound up only costing $5 per figure, average.
@@TheCrafsMan Yes sir I started searching for "lots" and "parts" also. I recently found a 3-3/4 inch Storm Trooper and Darth Vader from the Rogue One series at the 99 cent store for $1.99 each. They are newer toys but still Star Wars figures and for two bucks you can't beat that!
You found your way! You found your tribe! Every company in the Glyos Galaxy is filled with action figures just like you, sharing your passions and your firm stance on real world moral issues like Rotational Freedom! Talk to anybody who does what they love, and they will tell you they got there by being happy, surprisingly well received and not focused on doing it right before they realized they had been making their way toward doing it all along and now they doing it. Seriously, that's the process. Congratulations, from Jay Pocket. I love you and your story here, Crafsman. Maybe I can pop my head out from the anonymity one day and collaborate on a project one day. Looks like you're used to working with shadowy figures and patrons, so it might just be a breeze. I love you too, brother from another. Keep steady crafsin, and launch your toy company without worrying about the "hows" to get there. Now we just need these Glyos makers to stop royally boning over the people who faithfully listen to them when they announce a drop time. I can count on my hands and toes how many times these makers didn't show up when they said they would, on top of making so few that they sold out in under 10 minutes. I can't reward their rudeness. If I ever make figures and they happen to be Glyos compatible, I'm not even going to mention that name. The Crafsman is NOTHING like the majority of people making Glyos / treating the customers like they don't matter.
@@JinzoCrash Thanks for the heads up. You know, in the 80s I got addicted to sneakers as much as action figures and that's what your recount of these toymakers reminds me of. It really gets me fired up to see the biggest sneaker brand these days recycling 30 year old designs out of less durable materials and then limiting the supply of each new colorway to drive up the price and create competition among consumers while also perpetuating a counterfeit market that generally boasts similar quality and in most scammy situations even garners the same ridiculous prices with no one to blame or file a claim against once the jig is up. Granted the Glyos situation doesn't sound as bad, but I would argue the operative term could be "yet" in such a partial sentiment. I've seen counterfeit toys and repackaging jobs at toy shows. The economics of concepts like "hype" and "planned obsolescence" irritate me, too. We apparently live in a society with a (hopefully fading) mentality of manufacturers that people will buy whatever they are told and those with the least common sense and the most money will pay ridiculous sums of money for too often mediocre products that serve no purpose but individual gratification and a contrived social relevance in small communities. Sadly, this marketplace dichotomy is but one more cog in a transmission that constantly torques the individual's pressure to self-serve and compete for dominance within these small niche communities, generally and genuinely building a population of sleepwalking consumers who compete with everyone and for everything, ultimately diluting the preponderance of unification, loyalty and selflessness. Luckily, that's only one perspective and it doesn't have to be the reality we see unless it is the reality we look for. Furthermore, I am sure a small influx of "Crafsminded" individuals like "Our Host" here will hopefully usurp such paradigms and wrangle the power back from the clutches of social esteem and dollar worship to place it back into the eagerly anticipating hands of a growing constituency of integrity oriented, quality rewarding, better informed folks (like you and me, I guess) who actually give a damn where our money goes and to whom it supports. i was fortunate enough to find out about you and AC toys around the same time. i am not sure if y'all know this but, there are a lot of words that intersect around silicone and resin casting. i think the youtube robots are doing a lot of us a favor by recommending us to watch your videos. i am working on resin casting and miniature display painting, but in the resin casting game, there are a lot of pitfalls, which you cool people have already encountered and are making videos about, helping us tangential creative types out. keep being awesome, because a lot of us appreciate the time you put in. your knowledge and experiences can help out far more people than you would expect. thank you crafsman, thank you ac toys. heart emoticon

While I've never gotten into them (I just don't have the time, room, or money for everything) I have known about this for quite some time, and think they're great. I was super surprised to see them go "main stream", and have Fallout, My Hero Academia, & Dark Souls figures be made that are advertised as being Glyos compatible on the box.
Absolutely loved this video: always love seeing new folks get into Glyos. Been collecting it here for about 3 years now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best (if not THE best) toylines I've ever encountered. The community is wonderful, too: if you ever want to come around see what folks are up to, the Glyos tag over on Instagram is always bustling with people, posts, and new builds/customs people have been up to. Welcome to the glyosverse. ^__^
Thanks so much! I'm a long-time vintage figure collector, but somehow the Glyos system has remained unknown to me until just recently. I was BLOWN AWAY by it, plus the fact that the independent producers are inspired by the very same toy lines I'm fond of. It's wonderful! :D I joined one of the Facebook groups yesterday, and hope to do some Instargram posts today. Thanks for the tip about the hashtag! :D
Best figs on the planet reviewed by the chillest dude on the tubes. Nice! Craftsman, just wait until you start building with multiple figs to make gigantic stuff! Also, there are even more custom figures & resin heads by TheGodBeast, and many many others. Customizers like Healymade, The Sucklord, Monsterforge and others have made a ton of customs as well!
When I turned 14 I started sculpting in hope of eventually making my own action figures. Fast forward a couple of years to today, I have endured a good deal of frustration and challenges. I almost gave up a couple of times, but I was too stubborn for that and your videos are part of what keeps me looking toward the sky. Thank you craftsman.
it's a very different world today... it's nice to see some of that action figure magic come back... even if there's no animated shows around to make kids excited i hope they can still come up with their own stories

i was fortunate enough to find out about you and AC toys around the same time. i am not sure if y'all know this but, there are a lot of words that intersect around silicone and resin casting. i think the youtube robots are doing a lot of us a favor by recommending us to watch your videos. i am working on resin casting and miniature display painting, but in the resin casting game, there are a lot of pitfalls, which you cool people have already encountered and are making videos about, helping us tangential creative types out. keep being awesome, because a lot of us appreciate the time you put in. your knowledge and experiences can help out far more people than you would expect. thank you crafsman, thank you ac toys. heart emoticon
Thank you, my friend! I'm flattered to be in such company. Keep on steady craftin, and I'll see you in the future!
Crafsman, I love you, my dude. You brighten my day, regardless my mood.
This is hands down, the best channel.
M.A.S.K was (and still is to this day) one of my favourite cartoons!! So underrated. And it has the best opening theme ever made.
I never watch a crafs man video only once
Absolutely love hearing this fella speak. Love the accent! I also enjoy the articulations!! New favorite maker of mine. Keep on keeping on sir! The world needs more folks like you in it!!
Hey Crafsman, I like it when you use the "smackify togetherness" effect in your videos. Thanks for another awesome video!
crafsman voice is very soothing and makes me smile! his videos are funny, entertaining and educational! love you crafsman! keep up the great things you do!
i don’t think he’s new to collecting
Thanks so much! I'm a long-time vintage figure collector, but somehow the Glyos system has remained unknown to me until just recently. I was BLOWN AWAY by it, plus the fact that the independent producers are inspired by the very same toy lines I'm fond of. It's wonderful! :D I joined one of the Facebook groups yesterday, and hope to do some Instargram posts today. Thanks for the tip about the hashtag! :D
Sophie Goose Where can I get the big robot figure he kept showing?
@@elenas-s1654 he's new to Glyos collecting
sound quality on point. nice work!
I love that big robot dude! Hope I get to see him hangin' out in the background of later videos.
Wow you took me back to my childhood my brothers and I would trade action figure limbs all the time. Thanks for posting 👍💜🤗
Thank you so much for these fun and relaxing videos!
oh man, those toys are really beautiful
I am so happy the tiny little felt arm appeared again! It always makes me laugh.
:D So far, I think you're the only one who caught that!
Now that's a cool toy!
Still love it. You relax me, get my creative juices going plus make me laugh all at the same time. That's skill. True skill.
This video is an ASMR dream. You’re voice is so relaxing. Thank you!
Your videos are like therapy... I never had an interest in toys and figures until I found your channel. I first started watching because of your casting videos since I use epoxies and don't like bubbles lol
Thank you so much!
