Thank you Thane for this behind-the-scenes look at how you create your great videos. Very interesting tutorial for those of us who enjoy the 'nuts and bolts' of video production. I've been filming since Super 8 in the 1970s. (About 17 years of age). Then got into 16mm films in the 80s. Had to send my film stock to Cleveland to the nearest lab for developing Ecktachrome. Edited film (cut and spliced) on a Movieola with hand cranks, bought in Hollywood. Switched to high def video when our children got into sports in the 90s. Into UHD since early 2000s. Now shopping for 4K camcorders. Will have one with me when we travel back out your way later this year (sept/oct). Best wishes to you both, especially Judy and her struggle with ciliac disease.

We can relate with all the videos in the day. We've probably only transferred half of our VHS tapes to DVD and ripped to the cloud, so much to do I'm afraid. I know my parents did a little bit with super 8, very little though. In the 1970's as a young teenager I was introduced to BW photography and spent every dime I could earn on 35mm camera and darkroom equipment and to this day I've still got it, though I haven't yet framed in a little corner yet in the house somewhere and ran plumbing for getting it going again...one day perhaps, though hard to step away from the power of a simple cell phone's capabilities for pictures and videos. Cheers!
